Hunter wasn’t under investigation. The company he worked for, Burisma, was not under investigation, its president, Zlochevsky, was not under investigation, and the prosecutor the banks wanted fired, Shokin, had promised in writing that they would never have to be worried about being investigated as long as he was in office. If Biden wanted to make extra sure no one investigated Hunter (although the Ukrainians said they had no reason to investigate him other than Trump’s pressure much later), he would have done whatever he could to make sure Shokin not get fired.

Honestly, I think Trump handled some things well when it came to Covid, even though overall I think he bungled it terribly, by his standards it looked pretty good compared to his response to something like Hurricane Maria. Things I think he handled reasonably well:
1) the travel restrictions were a good idea and if followed up on with intelligent action would have done much to save lives.
2) sending the hospital ship to New York brought huge amounts of relief there, saved lives, and reduced infection rates
3) he did what he could within his legitimate powers to expedite the vaccine development and rollout
