Bloomberg could buy all of them with just what he is willing to spend to get the office.

That kind of wealth combined with being smart and having the power of the Presidency is not anything we've ever seen. That threat alone almost makes the case that there should even be people with that kind of money and almost certainly makes the case that the system is vulnerable to the oversized influence it can buy in our politics should it be at the personal disposal of the leader of our nation.

We aren't talking about the petty anti grifting we see currently. It bad enough that a few hundred thousand can get a hundred million in govt contracts steered your way or a law that allows you to round up humans and put them in cages for profit. There is a danger that $10 billion someday might get you an enteral leader who can pass down the office and its power through lineage .

I think the irony is finally too much to bear for the lefties backing a racist billionaire to defeat Donald Trump.

Then Little Mike has pledged to spend billions trashing Trump with PAC ads made by first rate political operatives and movie people right up to Election Day. Trump’s own words and actions will be used in these ads. His big lying mouth was the sword that got him in and could very well be the sword that gets him ousted Now that his lies have been exposed. It should be a real turd fest at any rate, especially if Sanders gets the nod. If old Donny pulls another rabbit out of his hat, you gotta tip your hat to him.
