Bloomberg says old sick people should be left to die.

I hate bloomy but i think he's making sense here. No free health care for old people with one foot in the grave.

feb 17 2020 A new video posted on Sunday shows former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg explaining how healthcare will “bankrupt us,” unless we deny care to the elderly.

Mike Bloomberg: All of these costs keep going up. Nobody wants to pay anymore money. And at the rate we’re going healthcare is going to bankrupt us. So not only do we have a problem we’ve got to sit here and say which things we’re going to do and which things we’re not. Nobody wants to do that. If you show up with prostrate cancer and you’re 95 years old, we should say go and enjoy, you’ve had a long life, there’s no cure and we can’t do anything. If you’re a young person, we should do something about it. Society’s not willing to do that, yet.”

When the best of healthcare his money can buy keeps Bloomers alive til 95 and he gets cancer will he just roll over and die or will he ask for more treatment his money can buy?

Bloomer is working on a false premise anyways. Some cancer treatments are taxing and can kill you easier when you're 95 and other treatments such as surgery provide, if nothing else, practice for the doctor. Which is a good thing for when the 35 year old shows up for his cancer surgery.

My Mom died after a couple of days of open heart surgeries and age 80. The bill was $2 million. The doctors knew at the outset that they had little chance of saving her.

There must be a better way.

That's as amercian as apple pie, baseball and violence. The only advanced post-industrial nation on the planet sans universal healthcare for all, and damn proud of it.

You could have smothered her with a pillow and saved us all the costs.

America itself is a false premise.

Yet people from all over the world come here for medical treatment. Why?

That is nothing new.
Progressive belief is that the most vulnerable among us: the old and the unborn are useless so it's okay to kill them off or leave them to die.

That is the way Communism works.

People vote in Socialism so that they can have what they perceive as an equal level of living with everyone else. Things like free education through college, free housing, an income for everyone whether or not they work become expected.

Then.........fewer and fewer people work because why work when you would get the stuff even if you didn't work. Enter Communism where every able-bodied person is forced to work.

And guess what! If you are unborn, aborting you is even easier because your birth means mom might be out of her job for at least a little while. And if you are old......too old to work......... you get put into a corner to die.

Half of any individuals lifetime medical expenses - on average- will be incurred in the final 6 months life.

Hospitals are like expensive hotels. They dont want vacant beds. They will treat a patient as long as someone is willing to pay the bills.

Only a fool would believe a bankrupt govt that starts wars based on lies would pay for anyone’s retirement or healthcare after they stop working and paying taxes.

WOW - 2 mill for a surgery.!!!! The better way for her and the taxpayers would be to give her pain meds but let her die
