You can watch for ten minutes, you will know what will be on all day long.no need to watch after that. Local news is the same.

I gave up cable news a couple years ago. Can't stand it. I'll watch if someone I like is going to be interviewed.

Many have done the same thing, Gigi. I have found Aljeezera gives you news.

Many of the good journalists have migrated there because they say," They want to give real news. I just keep it on as background while I go. They are doing a story right now on a Cult that is composed of mostly young people. Sounds much like the David Koresh cult. They are clawing they will suffer and even die. The station made no comment,just let the young people talk.

They go all over the world. You hear stories you would never hear on cable news,although they are cable,too.
