Russia threatened to land troops on a Japanese island in order to force shared occupation of the nation. That was after the Japanese had surrendered. MacArthur said it would mean war. Russia backed down.
Russia blockaded Berlin. Threatening starvation for the Germans in that city. The US responded with an airlift to keep Berliners fed. Who was being more aggressive? The Russians with military force, keeping food and supplies from the city or the US responding with aid for Berlin?
The Russians pioneered high tech production? In your dreams. With the combined economies of the Warsaw pact under their control, they never reached anywhere near our production of cars, civilian aircraft, homes, refrigerators, televisions.
Tanks? Yup, they built a lot of those.
