Covid is not going away.

No it is not going away, yet.

I will counter your claim with this which likely newer than the graphs you are posting.

I see plenty of red states in this one.
There's are not recent numbers. Is thread about Covid going away or not? When face to the failures of blue states you desperately detract from the topic. What an embarrassment.

Blue states are this nation's economy or at least 70% of it.
That's because California and New York have major population centers so businesses set up shop there. There are all dependent on consumers in red states or they would have no economy. Blue states also have 80% of the poverty and welfare users, horrific unemployment rates, and staggering debt. Be proud.

They are from the 11th of April. That isn't even a full week ago.

What you really mean is that red states are dependent upon the production of goods and services from blue states.

I seriously doubt your poverty claims. I think you pulled that number out of your rear end in a moment of desperation.

Let's see a link to your 80% of the poverty and welfare claim.

Also, one of the biggest rants from Trump voting red states was how their economies were stagnant while the flourished in blue states since Republicans crashed the economy in 2008.

The list is in no order. Did you compute that on your Windows 95 machine? Good God.

Here are the REAL numbers up to the minute......they've been categorized by worst to best......and they've been the same way for weeks. I've posted updates in other threads every few days...

Coronavirus in the U.S.: Latest Map and Case Count - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

Are you now going to claim the NY Times is lying to make you look stupid here or what?

What you really mean is that red states are dependent upon the production of goods and services from blue states.
Are we talking about essential goods (like agriculture) or entertainment (like Hollywood, electronics, and tourism)?

The fact is without red state consumers choosing to buy goods blue state economies would completely collapse. They are not self-sustainable. Where do you think New York gets its food? The magical left wing fairy? Good God, man

The fact is red states have lower poverty, lower unemployment, higher standards of living. Fact. And they do it with far less debt. Derp.

I seriously doubt your poverty claims. I think you pulled that number out of your rear end in a moment of desperation.
Let's see a link to your 80% of the poverty and welfare claim.
Poverty in the US: These states have some of the worst poverty rates (usatoday.com)

Op-Ed: Why is liberal California the poverty capital of America? - Los Angeles Times (latimes.com)

Is California the welfare capital? - The San Diego Union-Tribune

34% of the nation's welfare recipient live in just one state....California.

Be proud.

Also, one of the biggest rants from Trump voting red states was how their economies were stagnant while the flourished in blue states since Republicans crashed the economy in 2008.
Stagnant with low unemployment, low poverty, and low welfare abuse? You're a strange guy.

"All of it.

The top agricultural and manufacture and media states are blue.

Your claim is not true.

California also has the nation's highest percentage of millionaires per capita.

You cannot stop yourself from lying, can you?

Cash receipts by commodity State ranking (usda.gov)

7 of the top 10 and 14 of the top 20 agriculture producing states are red.

Round and round we go. Your link doesn't say anything. This DOES:

No other state comes close to California in terms of total welfare spending - MarketWatch

Okay but of that top 10 blue states produce more.

My link does say something.

It says this:

You're basing your statement on California being a large state with a higher cost of living so all of its expenditures are larger than other states.

Those are numbers for SNAP ONLY....and they show a mix of states....

Welfare, which includes ALL government begging and leeching. Here, I'll help you out with link:

Is California the welfare capital? - The San Diego Union-Tribune

California and New York combined are combined 50% of the total.

Everyone knows blue states are poverty stricken shitholes that pump out welfare like crazy. You are just dumb enough to actually try to claim it's not true. What a joke. ROFL

I don't want to clog up this thread with your petty blue state jealousy. Especially when it is centered on the greatest states in the union.

Keep grumbling and griping from your desolate red states, and we will ignore you as usual as your gaze on at your betters.

Now go back get your infested states vaccinated because as the numbers have shown ignorance offers no protection against this virus.

Yep, your new update for the day...

Hey, and look, even Bill Maher now admits red states and governors like DeSantis got it right.....

Maher praises DeSantis, knocks Cuomo, 'liberal media' for getting COVID wrong: 'Those are just facts' | Fox News

When will you admit you have been severely duped and that blue states did far more damage than good?

Mick

The Right is always right
In his closing monologue Friday night, Maher took aim at the media's "panic porn" during the pandemic, citing a Dartmouth study showing that "nearly 90 percent" of U.S. national media coverage was negative in comparison to other countries even as conditions were getting better.

Maher also called out politicians who "lie" to "save their own asses."

"When all of our sources for medical information have an agenda to spin us, yeah, you wind up with a badly misinformed population, including on the left'..........

Maher then pointed to a Gallup survey that showed the vast majority of Democrats incorrectly overestimate the probability of being hospitalized from COVID, with 41 percent believing it's at least 50 percent while only 10 percent of Democrats correctly said that the probability is only 1-to-5 percent while 26 percent of Republicans said the same, stressing that Democrats were "wildly off on this key question."

"[Democrats] also have a greatly exaggerated view of the danger of COVID to and the mortality rate among children, all of which explains why today the states with the highest share of schools that are still closed are all blue states," Maher lamented..................

The HBO star blasted The Atlantic magazine for shaming the media's use of beach photos as a concern of furthering the spread of the virus "even though it's increasingly looking like the beach is the best place to avoid it."

"Sunshine is the best disinfectant and Vitamin D is the key to a robust immune system," Maher exclaimed. "Texas lifted its COVID restrictions recently and their infection rates went down in part because of people getting outside to let the sun and wind do their thing. But to many liberals, 'That can't be right because Texas and beach-loving Florida have Republican governors"......................

Maher then praised Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for being "a voracious consumer of the scientific literature."

"And maybe that's why he protected his most vulnerable population, the elderly, way better than did the governor of New York," Maher said, knocking Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo. "Those are just facts."

And now what?
Florida has not done better than New York.

1618709149586.png

Florida has fewer deaths per million, but that is because the virus hit the NE first, it was a novel virus, and there were no known treatments back then. Half of the total number of deaths in NY happened over the single 45 day period after their first cases hit.
Beyond that NY got its initial spread under control much better than Florida.

You really need to stop. Florida has a larger population than New York and is far greater tourist destination. Florida has had fewer cases per capita since the pandemic started and far, far fewer deaths. Florida is also improving while New York is getting worse. And that doesn't even take into account how DeSantis has protected his older population while h.omo murdered his.

Maybe you should listen to Maher who has finally caught on...

"And maybe that's why he protected his most vulnerable population, the elderly, way better than did the governor of New York," Maher said, knocking Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo. "Those are just facts."

And THOSE are "just the facts". Your leaders are failures. The left wing mind is a deranged entity.

"A mix of vaccinations, continued mask wearing, people already having immunity and the weather warming up has slowed down the spread, said Diana Cervantes, a professor of biostatistics and epidemiology at UNT Health Science Center."

Well, well....what do we have here? After lefty yapped incessantly about how guys like DeSantis and Abbott were going to lead to doom and gloom for giving their states freedoms from this nonsense.......it now becomes....."errr, uhh, grunt..........I guess it's working for some reason".

Got your 5 masks on?

Now India has likely taken the lead from the US as the world's hotspot.

They are proving even at this late date with vaccines available that explosions in infections among the unvaccinated can and will happen.

Florida has had more cases than New York and the governor has been caught lying about the Covid-19 deaths in his state.

It does not appear to be doing better than NY in regard to new cases either.
