Crazy lefty hosts "anti-racism" diversity rally: "man and/or white....PLEASE DON'T COME"

Students have hit out after white people were banned from an event supposed to be against racism.
Those studying at Goldsmiths University in south London were invited to the student union event to call on academics to 'diversify the curriculum'.
But many were left shocked when an organiser told white people and men 'not to come', as it was only open to black minority ethnic (BME) women.

The University's student union Welfare and Diversity Officer, Bahar Mustafa wrote on Facebook: 'Invite loads of BME Women and non-binary people!!
'Also, if you've been invited and you're a man and/or white PLEASE DON'T COME just cos (sic) i invited a bunch of people and hope you will be responsible enough to respect this is a BME Women and non-binary event only.'
'Non-binary' is a term used to describe people who do not consider themselves exclusively male or female.

A webpage set up for the event stated: 'This meeting is for all self-defining BLACK and ETHNIC MINORITY women and non-binary people with gender identities that include 'woman'.'
Despite the ban, the group's demands included a call for: 'Zero tolerance policies on all forms of prejudice, discrimination and oppression'.
The planned exclusion of white and male students sparked a backlash from some, who accused organisers of being 'patronising beyond belief'.

The fact that that irony doesn't occur to them is hilarious. But this is also the way the Obama Administration operates. The Civil Rights Section of the DOJ runs things the same way as it applies to voter rights, as in the Philadelphia New Black Panthers.
Open and clear violation of voters' rights were condoned only because the interference was coming from a minority voting group. The irony that an overt racial bias was occurring was disregarded completely.

This intention wasn't to promote diversity. The inspiration for this rally was what passes for feminism today. It's just anti-male. This woman who put this thing together is talking about how the faculty up til recently has been "white, male, and able-bodied dominated." She herself is white, but she's excluding white women...who knows why? Not the first time a leftist has marched a cause across a minority's back. Here she's also calling for folks who are outside societal norms. They, too, are a minority.
The outcry from the student body was sufficient though and she had to open it up to anyone who wanted to go.

Hilarious. This post got a "disagree" from someone without the knowledge of what actually happened, and didn't have enough sense to describe what he could possibly be disagreeing about.
Gotta wonder about the left.
