and yet he was still impeached, found guilty yet remained in office...[not all findings of guilt lead to removal from office].

trump was found not guilty/acquitted...

see the difference?
What part of this don't you understand?

Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, was impeached by the House of Representatives on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice, on December 19, 1998. Two other impeachment articles, a second perjury charge and a charge of abuse of power, failed in the House. He was acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999.

the democrats have tried to impeach every republican president [sans 2] since Eisenhower...

heres a nice video explaining the democrats,,who they are, what they stand for...

Inconvenient facts about the republican party.

In 1866 the KKK sprung up in the south. Racist southern whites were easy to recruit and they were largely democrats. The democratic party ruled the south until 1964. At that time there were only 10 republicans from the former confederate states in Congress and they were all white. In 1964 a bi-partisan group of Senators and Congressmen, mostly Democrats and all from northern states voted for the Civil Rights Act. Every single senator and congressman from the confederate states voted against.

There are currently over 100 republicans from the former confederacy in the Senate and House.

Explain why all those racist southerners are now voting republican.

Your link does not address events since 1964. Start there.
the quota system the democrats brought us was ruled unconstitutional but quickly replaced by affirmative action which judges people "based on the color of their skin and not the content of their character"...

guess you missed that dream...

Well, at least you've given up on trying to say that Clinton was convicted...

So now you want to start up a side topic of affirmative action within a thread on impeachment....Nah.

Wow...a little early for happy hour, isn't it? I didn't ask what "despicable things" anybody did. Bill Clinton was not fined $900k and he was not disbarred for perjury or anything else. He was cited for contempt of court and part of the deal was that his law license was suspended.

By the way...you changed the subject.

And he was a liar as well, wasn't he.

On Nov. 11, 1983, seven House Democrats introduced a draft resolution to impeach President Ronald Reagan. They charged that the 40th president had committed a high crime or misdemeanor by "ordering the invasion of Grenada in violation of the Constitution," among other charges.

a handful of Democratic politicians filed articles of impeachment against President George H. W. Bush Sr.

What's True
Articles of impeachment were introduced against five of the six Republican presidents who have served since President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

This is all this is...They all whine every time they lose.
For most of our nation's history, the transition from one president to the next has been peaceful. This last time it was not. Democrats never accepted the election of President Trump and they never will. That is the key to their imminent demise. They are successfully committing the suicide of their party.

you mean like bill?

or his wife?
BIll lied about having an affair. Trump has lied about things big and small. It is almost like he does it to stay in practice. Why did he lie to Zelensky saying that Crowdstrike was a Ukrainian company and that Biden bragged about stopping an investigation. Why did he lie about knowing Parnas?

Only four times in our history has the president been elected by fewer voters than their opponent. Twice, in the elections of 2000 and 2016. Gee, why would people object?
