Deporting Aliens -1952

Here is number eight US Code 1182, inadmissible aliens.

This law was written in 1952. It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president.

"Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."

All of the pundits that are claiming that what Trump said is dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, and/or unconstitutional, need to educate themselves. It is already the law of the land. And it was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more. He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a bunch. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States, 1979.

You probably won’t hear of this from the mainstream media, but those are the facts!

Maybe Trump isn’t that dumb after all?

Successful? After Operation Wetback our unemployment rate more than doubled within five years!!!! Adding insult to injury, the unemployment rate has never gone down to the level it was just before Operation Wetback.

Jan. 1953 - 2.9 percent unemployment

Jan. 1958 - 5.8 percent unemployment

What was your definition of successful again?

So all those returning GI's weren't able to get jobs. Such the ignorant play on statistics. Had the deportations not happened then the Unemployment rate would have been even higher. SMFH

It failed to get jobs for GIs.

Okay, maybe I'm missing something. If you were satisfied with simply getting rid of people you like calling "illegals," then what's the big deal about Donald Trump? He says he will deport them, but then allow them back in - when he can give them their human registration papers. If they're coming back, why spend the money to deport?

In my mind, it would make better sense to give them a Guest Worker status with no automatic path to citizenship. That way, they could work here "legally" as the NS demands we call it AND not be able to avail themselves of the privileges of citizenship.

guest workers programs have been done successfully [imo] before...

The Bracero Program was a series of laws and diplomatic agreements, initiated on August 4, ... It did not take long for President Truman to sign Public Law 78 on July 1951; which did not include employer sanctions. ..... The bracero program was aguest-worker program that ran between the years of 1942 and 1964.

when AZ passed its employee sanctions law, and began enforcing it, the obama cartel sued to cease its actions...

Okay. we have had programs before, but I'm talking about the here and now AND I'm still wondering why the anti-immigrant lobby has demanded citizenship for these people.

The Orlando shooter's parents should have NEVER been afforded citizenship. Islam is at a state of war with us and has been since that shooter was little more than a gleam in his daddy's eyes.

If we had Guests, they could be deported without fanfare.

They did come as guests, they then were allowed to apply for citizenship, guess what, the govt authorized their citizenship. I guess you simply believe you are able to see the future that their child would become radicalized by his own stupidity. Again I have to SMFH at the shear stupidity of your claims.

No it didn't, it simply couldn't give jobs to all GI's, not only that the military needs were then reduced also removing jobs form the market. Your lack of basic common sense and little to no/ignorant knowledge stands out like a sore thumb.

He says they will be deported, they can then apply to come back, not all will be allowed, sure some may, but then many won't, it will be based on the needs of our industries, not on the needs of foreigners.

Even guest workers can apply to adjust status to include changing status, which again shows just how ignorant you are to immigration law.

Just a correction. Where it shows the Iroquois Confederacy, that was actually the Three Fires Confederacy. The Ojibwe, Bodweadamee, and the Odawa. The Wyandot, or Huron as they are commonly called, were along the Lake Erie shore, where the town of Wyandotte, Michigan is. They had an established settlement, Maquaqua, in 1732, when the Iroquois dispatched them thanks to French missionaries 'civilizing them'.

Agreed, except for the numbers. Eisenhower deported about 2-3 MILLION. About another 2 MILLION are thought to have fled on their own, as INS agents went house to house, in southwestern states, hunting illegal aliens down.

Having spoken to some of the people in the Trump campaign, some inside information is that practically no illegals will be allowed back in. Less than 1%. Only ones coming back would be those with very high-level skills that we need or would find very desirable to have (ex. talented surgeon, great violinist, great research scientist, etc.). Since these skills are very rare among illegal aliens, the number coming back in would be tiny.

So, essentially, your candidate is lying to the people, just like Hillary is. Correct?

I can solve the issue without a wall AND Mexico would be more than happy to help out.

After the illegals leave, the wages will need to be standard American level, or the companies will go out of business.
California just passed a law changing AG hours and pay. Anything over 40 per week is overtime or anything over 8 per day is overtime. The wages paid to AG workers is close to $20 per hour dependent upon how fast they are. The other option is mechanizing, to which many fields already have done.

How is Trump lying when he states he is going to deport all illegals? He has stated they can apply to come back, so all he is doing is not placing a bar on returning for them, giving them the opportunity to apply to enter legally.

Your ideas have already been shown to be inept, they solve nothing.
