The City Council of Hamtramck, Michigan, a small community in the Detroit area, with a large Muslim population, has voted (3 to 2) to allow the killing of innocent animals, in accordance with the Muslim holiday of Eid al Adha.
“If somebody wants to do it, they have a right to do their practice,” council member Mohammed Hassan said. He's wrong. The killing of animals, by ordinary people not in approved slaughterhouses for food companies, is entirely ILLEGAL under Michigan law, as it is under the state laws of every state in America.
But generally Muslims pay little or no attention to US laws and customs, and just go right ahead with their common Muslim practices, many of which clash with US laws. This typical behavior (Islamization) is nothing new, and Muslims have been engaging in criminal activity for decades in America, and in Europe as long as law enforcement officials allow them to get way with it.
Muslims often like to try to hide behind the 1st Amendment of the Constitution, citing religious freedom, but this is an absurd, bogus claim, seeing as how Islam is not even actually a religion, and even if it was, and Muslims' bogus defense were true, any law could be broken by Muslims (murder, rape, arson, etc), or anyone claiming a crime of theirs to be OK, based on religious freedom.
The Constitution (Article 6, Clause 2 - the Supremacy Clause) says otherwise, and overrules >>
"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land"
Dawud Walid, director of the Michigan branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations ( a Muslim Brotherhood front organization related to Hamas), said “it’s not something new or novel.” Well, of course to Muslims it isn't, but it certainly is new and unusual. and totally illegal to US non-Muslims.
