Dominating with the Bible

He disbursed peaceful Christian protesters using tear gas for a photo op. Once again Donald is doing everything he can to make things worse and increase division in the country. I honestly think he is being goaded by Miller to start the Boogaloo and his followers are itching to start indiscriminately shooting 'libs' and POC
hw did you asses the religious persuasion of the protesters..survey? person to person? made it up?

We know definitely at least two were Christians expelled from the grounds.

‘They turned holy ground into a battle ground’: Clergy members say police expelled them from the grounds of St. John’s Episcopal Church for Trump’s photo op

Two priests at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington D.C say that they and other clergy members were forcibly expelled from church grounds for President Donald Trump’s photo op.
Before D.C.’s 7 p.m. curfew, law enforcement used tear gas and rubber bullets to clear a crowd of peaceful demonstrators in the area so that Trump could take a photo with a Bible in front of the church.
Two Rectors from other Episcopal Churches, the Rev. Glenna Huber and Rev. Gini Gerbasi, wrote that they were handing out snacks and water to protesters all day before police came to clear the area.
Gerbasi wrote that she and other volunteers were tear-gassed, writing, “we were literally DRIVEN OFF of the St. John’s, Lafayette Square patio with tear gas and concussion grenades.”

I don't know whether all of them were or not. The Christian clergy who were there and spoke certainly were. And they were all engaging in a peaceful protest. Yet he had them teargassed so he could get a photo op. Not speak to the people, not mention the reason for the protest, not go into the church to pray. Just flex his muscles by teargassing his own citizens and get a photo op. Those who think that a president should attack his own citizens are those who are yearning for a strongman authoritarian dictator.

Addy's post above illustrates clergy who were teargassed, and mentioned concussive bombs too. There are several other examples in articles on the web.

Setting the church on fire was bad. A president setting upon his own people with teargas, while the people are behaving peacefully, for no reason other than a vanity photo op, is much, much worse. It's also just another in a long line of acts Donald has pulled that serve no purpose other than to inflame and sow discord.
