Don’t Forget: New Hampshire Winner And Dem Frontrunner Bernie Sanders Has A Lot Of Crazy Plans

excalibur

Mayor
And most are insane, all of them are crazy.

1. $34 Trillion Socialized Health Insurance Overhaul

Sanders would ban private insurance and implement single-payer government health care. Under his Medicare for All proposal, “federal spending on health care would still increase by 10 percent of G.D.P., or more than triple what the government spends on the military,” according to The New York Times.

2. Mass Bailout of Student Loan Debt

The senator would bail out student loan debt for “45 million Americans,” totaling “about 1.6 trillion,” according to his campaign website.

3. Making Higher Education ‘Tuition Free’

As with many of his policy proposals, Sanders’ oversimplified justification for providing free college is: Countries in Europe offer it for free, why can’t the United States? Unlike in Europe, however, tuition is precisely what made the United States the top country in which to study, and the reason students from all over the world flock to the United States for education.

Additionally, the costs of state-run universities in Europe have not ballooned to pay for the ever-expanded services American universities now must offer to remain competitive (luxurious gyms with lazy rivers, behemoth athletic departments, and gourmet dining halls). In 2016, Sanders’ opponent Hillary Clinton knocked his free tuition plan because it relied on state governors, including Republican governors who often cut spending, to put in state money.

4. Implementing ‘National Rent Control’

Sanders’ campaign has pledged to spend $2.5 trillion to build 10 million government housing units. He also wants the federal government to further invade every state’s housing laws and local economy by enforcing a national “rent control standard.” He proposes using the federal government to wage war against gentrification and zoning laws.

5. Instituting a Moratorium on Deportations

Sanders’ immigration plan includes ending deportations of illegal immigrants and offering citizenship to the 11 million illegal immigrants already living in the United States.

6. Effectively Abolishing ICE and CBP

Sanders wants to eliminate the federal agencies, Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as Customs and Border Protection, that protect our country’s sovereign borders and protect U.S. citizens from illegal immigrants who commit acts of violence and organized crime all over the United States.

Bernie will never win and the left knows it. Unfortunately, they are between a rock and a hard place. If the democrats screw Bernie over again and go with a more traditional candidate, the Bernie Bros will burn the party down. They will never go for another candidate after having their guy screwed over a second time. If they keep Bernie, then he'll lose, without a doubt. The democrats know that socialism doesn't play well with sane people, despite what the fascist left says.

This is going to be a fun primary season. :)

Boomers do so much pearl-clutching about Bernie's policy. The truth of the matter his policies are very smart, and very popular.

Bernie taught his bride while on honeymoon in Moscow how to Bankrupt a college and now showing her how to bankrupt America if elected...…...which he never shall be since DNC has chosen Bloomer

That do not typically go together, or we'd be able to let our little kids eat whatever they want whenever they want...
They are not mutually exclusive. Something can easily be unwise and unpopular, like smoking in bed. His statement is that this is the opposite. This isn’t that complex, brah.

I’m very much not s fan of Bernie’s policies. They’re awful to me, too expensive and I’ve worked too hard for what my family and I have.

That said, I’ll vote for him over trump. I believe what we have now is even worse. And that says a lot.

Campaign promises eventually have to come before Congress, the graveyard of ideas. Very few ever come to pass. The only time repukes and dem0craps can come together is when they are putting their thumb on the Peoples necks. You would think people on a political board would would know this.

Head grave digger Moscow Mitch could stop a clock.

It’s better than the alternative to me. Trump in the White House is unacceptable.

Yes, lowest unemployment, especially of blacks makes you vote for socialism to ensure present economy is destroyed!

I care more of my family than you, evidently.

I believe that trump is corrupt, racist, selfish and an international embarrassment. He has the lowest average approval rating in history, despite this strong economy, which means people agree with me. I really don't want to vote for Bernie, his policies are horrible. But I would have to.

If Trump were to die (as he is old and unhealthy, but I absolutely do not want this to happen) and another R were to run instead, I would likely give them a very serious look if they are up against Bernie. But Trump is just too horrid to consider.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.

Not your "brah." If socialism has such brilliant (and popular) ideas, why are there so few socialist countries? And even fewer, you know, successful ones...
