I disagree, I think the rich should have their taxes raised so the poor get relief.
The RICH already pay the majority of taxes
Students signed contracts to repay their student loans
I guess you also think all mortages and credit card debt should be forgiven also?

Many of those with student loans will become the RICH you want to eat.

Moral of story, don't borrow what you can't or refuse to repay

Moral of story, financial capital has slowly over the decades acquired an ever more restrictive stranglehold over the economy and lives entirely at the expense of every other part of society.

I hope so but I’m not sure. I see the current inflation as mostly a monetary phenomenon reflecting supply chain disruptions that are fundamentally harmful to business and a paper-thin bull market that is already on its way out.
You kids should have endured Carters inflation and interest rates

Except for all the parts that you omitted, financial Capital has brought with it over the decades massive investments in infrastructure, huge boons in earnings at every strata of society, technological advances, efficiencies in business and productivity, efficiencies of industry, invention, progress, development, expansion, and so on. People live better today than ever before, the progress due to capital investment has been staggering

What you mean is that the hoarding of wealth has created bottlenecks which prevent any such from taking place unless financed by capitalists, who do none of the labor involved.

I didn’t realize you meant “refuse to work literally every waking hour.”
During hurricanes I have did that during harvest, but, nowhere did I post every waking hour, but, that would stop them froming being poor wouldn't it.

Bottom line: moving from capitalism to socialism frees up productive forces, increases productivity, and raises the standard of living.
Absolutely not.. perhaps in theory yes. But as a practical matter absolutely not. As a practical matter socialism brings with it misery, impoverishment, graft and the massive accumulation of wealth among the elite. Oh yeah not to mention typically war or some other type of destruction.
