Dr. Saphier breaks down 'very encouraging' COVID-19 numbers: 'We are slowing' The sham is over

“ “These numbers are encouraging [in the sense] that these stay-at-home measures are actually working. On the flip side of that, you saw that Elmhurst hospital had 13 deaths yesterday in a 24-hour period. That is devastating. That still goes along the lines with what we’re expecting with this case fatality rate.”

Unless natural herd immunization or the warming weather is having an effect then it is pointless because as soon as the stay at home measures are lifted the epidemic flares right back up.

Not only that a reservoir of the disease for next season is already showing up in the Southern hemisphere were it is turning into winter. We will have to quarantine the Southern hemisphere travelers to some degree or another to keep this from returning. Laughably it is all adding up to a bad flu season. Much like the 2017-18 season that killed 80,000 (presumably because they don't test everyone for the flu who dies of pneumonia and ILI - influenza like illnesses). Science in practice is so f'nin inexact except the lefty's worship it in government. ha ha

Do you think they're talking about quarantining the Southern Hemisphere? NOOOOOOOOO WAAAAYYYYYYYY. That's racist. ha ha

So this could be as bad as a record flu season, as long as we maintain the quarantine and it isn’t the maximum number of deaths projected by the model (twice as many).

Where did you get that from? If only 20,000 die from the Wuhan virus with quarantine that would be 60,000 less than the flu of 2018.

Maybe if we didn't do quarantine then only 60,000 or 80,000 would die. Why don't we go ape shit for the flu season?

But then you might have to stack this season's flu deaths on top of that. Have you asked yourself who is in the hospital with the flu? How many of them have died? Is this death count really all that clean or is the Wuhan coronavirus taking street cred for the influenza and influenza like illness kill count?

80,000 is the most likely estimate for Coronavirus deaths in the U.S., as per your source, if shelter in place orders remain as long as necessary. The estimates I’ve seen for deaths with no quarantine range from 1.1 million to 1.2 million.

My source is dated 2018? It is talking about the flu and ILI's (influenza like illnesses).

I suppose YOU can only hope so. :0)

Setting that aside. Surgical masks mandated for all to use in public and social isolation for those over 70 and retired is the only real quarantine we need.

I'd say 50 and over should stay at home but those 50 year olds are going through a midlife crisis and don't ever listen. ;0)
