That is being attempted every single day. Just look at our schools. Just the mere fact that both History and Civics classes are not as prevalent as they once were in middle school and high school, which has changed the dynamics of what our youth are taught in regards to the history of our Nation. And when the classes are taught it is on a more limited basis, only covering specific events and time frames.
What events and time frames do you think history classes cover?

So whatever our government does, we must bow our heads and meekly acquiesce? I'm not surprised that is your, well, "view." I say ef that!
Our government (meaning Trump) fired McCabe and you bow your head and meekly agree with his view that after serving our nation from 1996 to 2018...and two days before retirement Trump decided to fire him.

You think that was justified...

A court disagreed....and you think agreeing with the finding of the court was wrong and agreeing with Trump was right....

Did you know that both Comey and McCabe were subjected to IRS audits after being fired? Odd that it would happen to both at the same time.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.

I have a fairly low opinion of bureaucrats. I think we need to make it waaaaay easier to fire them. And then start cleaning house. Trump has vowed to do that if re-elected. It's a pretty compelling reason to vote for him.

He'd turn federal employment into one giant reward to dole out to supporters if he were to win. You seem to have missed the patronage jobs scandals in the past. That is what the current system is meant to prevent.

Trump made a recent college graduate his choice to guide domestic drug policy. His only qualification was having worked on the Trump 2016 campaign.

Rebuild With Biden!

Good enough reason for Trump... Trump stated he loves the uneducated.

Nice try...you reduce the hacks of the DNC email server and numerous election related systems around the country to a point where you don't even think it happened and then the 100 or so contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian officials....including a Russian intelligence agent become a single instance of someone visiting with people he'd known from working in Russia....and you ignore the thousands of accounts setup to do PR for the Trump campaign by the Russian intelligence services.

You lose.
100 contacts with "Russian officials"? LOL You're a funny guy. You just make numbers up.
You're the one claiming people talking to business partners with whom they had business dealings for decades is a conspiracy simply because the partners happened to be Russian.

We know that Carter Page was invited to speak at commencement ceremony in Moscow in July 2016 because of his ties to the school. He didn't hide the invitation. It was publicly known by everyone. He asked the Trump campaign if it would be okay (as he was loosely affiliated with the campaign as a volunteer at the time) and they said okay as long as he made it clear he wasn't going as a representative of the campaign. Page spoke at the commencement and then talked with a few dignitaries and acquaintances after the speech. It was non-event. There is zero evidence of any wrongdoing.....and this is why the IG declared the FISA warrants on Page legally invalid. It's not evidence of anything and that is NOT a legitimate reason to launch a counterintelligence investigation into the President of the United States you goof.

The IG did not declare the warrant invalid.

Please link to the "statement of discipline" you posted. What did the FBI say when McCabe sued and won a wrongful termination lawsuit, got backpay and $500k in legal fees.
McCabe corruptly had his pension returned by BIden's DOJ. They did not do it with the blessing of the OPR or the IG who had documented McCabe's corruption and lies under oath. McCabe should have been in prison.

The report concerned an investigation that actually the FBI had initially undertaken involving alleged leaks about information that was potentially damaging to Secretary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign. The FBI internal investigators developed information that they believed — led them to believe — that deputy director McCabe may have lied to them,” Horowitz said. “They then referred the matter to us, given the position he held at the FBI. We assumed the investigation and concluded in a public report that remains on our website — and the public can see — that Mr. McCabe lied both under oath and not under oath on several occasions when he denied at various points certain key facts and information, including who was the source of the leak.”

Portman also asked Horowitz if key career officials at DOJ agreed that McCabe had lied, and he said yes.

“They agreed with us on almost all, but actually not all of our findings. So they made their own independent call that, in fact, he lied on multiple occasions, but they didn’t fully find everything we found,” Horowitz said. “They then sent it to — because of deputy director McCabe’s position, there’s a different process for him — it went to the attorney general for review, then-Attorney General Sessions. And my understanding is, and this I don’t have complete insight into, but my understanding is that the attorney general asked a career official in the Office of the Deputy General to handle the review and that that person recommended removal as well.”

FBI Assistant Director Candice Will and then-Associate Deputy Attorney General Scott Schools both agreed that McCabe lacked candor and should therefore be removed from his position.

Horowitz said it was his “understanding” the role played by the DOJ and the Office of Professional Responsibility in agreeing with him was consistent with how it had handled similar cases in the past.

Portman also asked if DOJ’s settlement with McCabe changed any of his report’s findings.

“It did not," Horowitz said. "We actually were not sued by Mr. McCabe, so we were not a party to the settlement. Our findings remain on our website. We stand by our findings. The public can read them. They can go to our website. And by the way, the FBI issued a statement stating that they stand by their findings.”

The Ohio Republican asked if there had been any influence on his report from Trump or anyone else in the Trump administration.

“Absolutely none," Horowitz said.

F'ing brutal takedown by the FBI and Obama's own Inspector General.

A whole lot of "may have"s in there. Lacked candor? That falls very short of saying he lied.

He was fired 2 days short of retirement after Trump's DOJ went after him.

1. The Crossfire investigation was not launched based on Carter Page's trip to Moscow
2. The DNC hack and word the Trump campaign knew in advance the Russians were sending data to Wikileaks.
3. When launched Trump was not president...

You must be kidding.

Trump showed the entire world his "standards" when he spearheaded a campaign to those with his "standards" to storm the Capitol on Jan 6. and to fight like **** to overturn the election.
Such a classy guy...he just posted on Truth Social that "Desanctimonious can kiss my ass"...

Yes, firing McCabe was ABSOLUTELY justified. The man openly undermined a duly elected POTUS.

They willingly lied to the FISA court in order to spy on a Presidential campagin. It does not get any more corrupt than that.... unless of course you are taking bribes from a foreign power while holding elected office..... ohhh hey.. what is a FD-1023?

Crossfire Hurricane was launched predicated on NOTHING....
Just part of that FBI "insurance policy" to stop Trump.

The Russians did NOT hack the DNC

You have been lying so long you just can't help yourself..... pathetic.

The FISA application was to a guy who no longer worked for Trump.
.you and your backdoor bullshit is lacking evidence.

Prove it.
It's been proven, the fact you have chosen to ignore and lie does not change that.

The Durham report is not an opinion piece despite your crying and trying to convince people otherwise.

FBI Insurance policy included use of campaign opposition research in order to stop and undermine a duly elected POTUS, ... and you don't care because the shit sucking scumbags you lie and defend every day did it.... so it's OK.

FBI not only installed Biden as President they buried a report that indicated that Biden took a bribe while VP along with the killing of any investigation into Hunters laptop......

Wow... that Russian disinformation huh.... ;)
