Former federal prosecutor Francey Hakes accused Bragg of weaponizing the law politically, and acting like a "king," in order to indict the former pres

Yes, that is exactly what this is.

The case is as weak as it gets but it does not matter. Much like the raid on Trumps home they will get the photo op they want. The perp walk, Trump in handcuffs, a mugshot, damage will be done even if the case lasts a total of 15 seconds in court of law.

As long as one side is willing to weaponize the legal system to punish those that do not agree with them, this country is over. Democrats don't care because it is only about what gives them power.

You think the case is weak? In fact Cohen went to jail for his part in violating campaign laws. Did you actually think he paid Daniels on his own? Was it just a coincidence that Trump paid him back for the money paid to Daniels?

Any time Trump is accused of a crime, you instantly dismiss it. The Russians invested significant effort in 2016 to help Trump. You deny it. You even argue there should be no investigation into the Russian interference. You just don't want to know if Trump encouraged the Russians with the suggestion that they'd get favorable policies and get out of the Obama sanctions. So no investigation needed....right?

You also deny that the hold on congressional appropriations for Ukraine was illegal. Based on what? Certainly not on knowledge of the law. You don't care that Trump obstructed the investigation into the phone call with Zelensky. He did tell government employees to ignore subpoenas, right?

You've also tried to minimize the effect of telling a mob that the election was stolen and that they needed to go to the capitol to fight like hell or they won't have a country....ah, that was just a demonstration that got out of hand. No reason to impeach the leader of that mob....Am I right?

You advocate for a dictatorship, run by the loser of a democratic election. You want a nation where the leader cannot be accused of a crime....even if the crime is obvious.

Oh. Just which crimes has he committed?
It was against the law to put a hold on a congressional appropriation without notifying congress two weeks in advance.

GAO says Trump administration broke law by withholding Ukraine aid | Fox News

He then committed obstruction by telling federal employees to ignore subpoenas.

He broke several laws when he took about 40 boxes of government documents, some classified, from the White House.

Well, if former prosecutor Fancey Fake says it on Fox News…….Who gives a fvck…I agree that this Stormy crap is pretty weak, but as far as politicizing law enforcement, Trumps DOJ was in a class by itself. My take is that if Trump is indicted, it will help him win the GOP nomination and get his ass handed to him by Biden again. Just as the Democrats managed to nominate the only person who Trump could beat in 2016, it looks like the GOP is going to nominate the only guy Biden could beat again! Nominating the biggest LOSER for the third straight time would really be a hoot. Trump along with the lying ass holes at Fox News have turned the once formidable GOP into a laughingstock clown show. Nice to watch in real time….

He took money for personal purposes from campaign funds and then lied in his records to say it was a legal expense related to his campaign. Was that what Hillary was fined for? Hillary was fined $8,000.

Political candidates and groups are required to publicly disclose their spending to the FEC, and they must explain the purpose of any specific expenditure more than $200. The FEC concluded that the Clinton campaign and DNC misreported the money that funded the dossier, masking it as “legal services” and “legal and compliance consulting” instead of opposition research.
