Gas prices plunging only because Biden sells oil from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve

Yup and the worthless press won't talk about this. The SPR is for emergencies!! After the midterms gas will go to $10.

aug 4 2022 President Joe Biden’s continuous sales of crude oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) could have severe consequences for taxpayers, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The Biden administration announced plans last Tuesday for another wave of oil sales from the SPR, as well as a proposal to help restock the reserve, according to a White House press release. The Biden administration aims to strategically sell oil from the reserve to boost supplies and fight soaring gas prices, but the rapid draining of U.S. stockpiles could cause taxpayers to foot the bill when the department inevitably refills its reserves.

“We filled the SPR at $60 a barrel … and now we’re looking to replenish at $90, meaning there is still a $30 per barrel delta, and we have sold millions and millions of barrels,” Daniel Turner, executive director of Power The Future, told the DCNF. “Biden is fleecing taxpayers to save the midterms.”

It’s not like we own it or it’s our responsibility to pay for it. If this isn’t an emergency, why do you keep kvetching about it?

I don't think a 30 cents a gallon drop qualifies as a price plunge.

Where i live it's dropped over a dollar in the last couple months. Still very high.

It appears china's economy is collapsing and that will cause a huge drop in demand for oil. That and biden raiding the SPR are causing the drop.

We could be in a war with Russia and/or China at any time. We would go to war with a depleted SPR. Instead of boosting production Biden took from the rainy day savings account. It is all about this phony climate crisis.

1. The oil from the SPR was sold at the going rate...meaning we made money on the sale.
2. We won't know what is paid for the replacement oil until it is actually bought.

It's a dangerous thing to do, but Biden is bent on destroying us and he will unless he is impeached. That won't happen, so..........

If we keep producing oil a war with Russia or China will be the least of our worries.
0.04% atmospheric CO2 is not a problem. If you think it is then the only answer is to sequester the carbon. Especially now that since Pelosi left Taiwan, China has stated is is not participating in any Climate protocols. So that's that.
