Now all we have to do is find conscious leaders and get them to agree to lead us.

Taking into account that if we had ever succeeded at that in the past at doing that, we wouldn't need them now.
Forging that kind of leadership is the task of the vanguard party. What the revolutionary nucleus can work to do is build that party by uniting the revolutionary elements in all the workers’ parties and splitting them off from the opportunist elements.

The sad problem with this is that revolution creates opportunity.

You can't separate them from the cause because it's the cause that creates them.

Opportunity creates opportunist.

The real problem has always been us.

It is the revolution stalling that creates opportunities for exploitation. The solution is to keep the revolution conquering new ground.

Which of the tests do you consider inappropriate:

1) simulating the number of seats won based on voter participation and similarities to districts nationwide, and observing whether there is a discrepancy between seating results and simulation results
2) observing whether one party wins a lot more lopsided victory while one wins almost all close elections
3) observing whether there are an unusual number of districts with the same partisan vote share or very little difference between mean and median vote shares.

That sounds exactly like the only thing that keep Capitalism afloat.
Constantly have to consume more.
That route always leads to that failure in the late stages.

Sound like you're looking for a repeat.

That’s the thing about building a better mousetrap … you have to keep failing until at last you succeed.
