The right is blaming Speaker Pelosi for the MAGAt riot. Too funny.
Pelosi isn't at fault for the riot, Pelosi is at fault for not taking extra steps to ensure capital was better protected to wit is HER job as speaker

She certainly was in Charge when she told Chief of capital police to step down and I'm quite sure no other house member could made him step down other than her the Speaker

Ask capitol police board who were in charge, and had to turned down numerous requests to have the NG there before it all happened as they could not get congressional approval. Who was in charge of Congressional approval? Oh yeh, Nancy Pelosi. Oh and as for Trump hesitating? Look at the time stamp on this tweet. It wasn't Trump who held back the National Guard. He had suggested they be there in advance of the Rally.

At President @realDonaldTrump’s direction, the National Guard is on the way along with other federal protective services. We reiterate President Trump’s call against violence and to remain peaceful.

Funny thing...Trump didn't stop speaking until about 2pm. The National Guard did not deploy for several more hours.

3:36 p.m.: White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweets: “At President @realDonaldTrump’s direction, the National Guard is on the way along with other federal protective services.”

They seem to be using Pacific time.

I'm in Mountain Time. So that was 3:36pm....long after the riot started.

It was the job of the Sergeant at Arms in both the House and Senate...not Pelosi.
They report to a committee...not Pelosi.
