Where is the Constitutional authority for this? How does one individual garner this power in a Republic of 300 million people, many of whom are out of work, particularly in the black community, or are only working part time as a direct result of the healthcare legislation pushed into law solely on the votes of Democrats in Congress.

This is nothing less than an obscenity.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services plans to seek a vendor to produce as many as 34 million blank work permits and 'green cards', the paperwork that authorizes immigrants to live and work in the United States, as the White House prepares to issue an executive order after the Nov. 4 midterm elections.

According to a draft solicitation published online, the government agency will look for a company that can produce a minimum 4 million cards per year for five years, and 9 million in the early stages.

President Barack Obama has pledged that he will make a move on immigration reform this year. His original timetable called for a decision by the end of the summer. ​

"This revelation provides startling confirmation of the crisis facing our Republic,The President is preparing to issue work authorization and ‘legal’ status to millions of individuals illegally present in the country, in violation of plain statute. His planned executive immigration order will nullify the immigration laws of the United States and its sovereign people. But rather than defend the legal rights and jobs of their constituents, Senate Democrats have surrendered them to this lawless scheme. The remedy lies in the hands of the voting public."

Sessions has this, as he does most of the time, dead-on.
Illegal immigration must be curbed for the future of the nation. It is affecting voting, employment, drug use and criminality, race relations, and domestic security. The course of action preferred by most Democrats, liberals, mushy Republicans or those driven by the lower-wage industries is an oncoming freight train.
Obama deserves rebuke for printing up what amounts to counterfeit green cards, something if a civilian did it would get them prison time.

Covered in a lengthy thread, beginning October 20th. I see it's back on the front page of the current events forum.

If anyone would take time to read the draft solicitation, it is not for 34 million green cards. The draft solicitition is for card stock that will be utilized be a government agency as is needed for the printing of green cards. Every year, there are numbers of LEGAL immigrants who receive green cards, work visas, etc. An agency needs to print those and needs card stock on hand to do so. I guess the Pubs would rather they send someone over to Staples to pick up a ream of stock whenever they run low.
