It was assessed at a certain value. He sold it for another value. Try buying a decent car at MSRP in recent years.

Versus inflating how much you’re worth to conduct business and take out loans.

Knowing the kind of guy John Stewart is, I assume that he has a competent lawyer and accountant who prepared his Capitol gains taxes very conservatively so as not to raise any red flags. Also knowing him, next Monday he will no doubt do a full segment and explain his position. Should be interesting and funny. The guy is very smart and hilarious too. It’s great to see him back on the air. The news team on his show are also the best in the business. Desi Lydic, Jordan Klepper and the rest of the comic/journalists on that show are more informative and truthful than all the clowns on Fox who aren’t even aware that they are comics, just lying buffoons. Wait until Monday and Jon will no doubt make jackasses of those who have been attacking him all week.

The article you posted, that the buyer took a loss when he sold it in 2021 shows covid hit sales...not that Stewart committed fraud.
