I am sooo praying that democrats hold a virtual Zoom convention . . .

I am SOOO looking forward to a democrat ZOOM virtual convention, aren't you?

Recent WFH Zoom meetings, virtual campaign appearances, and government hearings have been notable for glitches, technical failures, porn bombs, racist memes, etc.

In fact, Biden has yet to pull off a single successful basement campaign appearance. Joe's screen shot in the montage above is taken from one of his least glitch ridden online appearances. Maybe he's using the tech guys who secured the DNC servers in 2016? Hey Joe . . . you could always give the Geek Squad (a trademarked service of Best Buy) a shot, eh?

Democrats indeed may have actually painted themselves into a corner by constantly claiming everyone who doesn't wear a mask and cower in their basement is going to die. There's no way for them to hold a real convention without disproving those anti-STEM chicken little rants the media is enabling.

This goes a long way to explaining why North Carolina's democrat governor Roy Cooper is under incessant pressure from democrats to pull some sort of dirty political trick to interfere with the (for now) in person Republican convention. Various ideas being floated include

1. Partial occupancy, to gull viewers into thinking the GOP doesn't have enough people to fill the convention hall
2. Requiring everyone to wear masks
3. Giving the go ahead now, but cancelling the convention permit at the last moment to sow chaos

Of course, democrats weren't in charge of North Carolina when the GOP selected Charlotte as their convention site. And it would be a public relations disaster if democrats had a Zoom fail, while smiling, happy republicans convened in person with good lighting, makeup, and adequate microphones.

So far the country seems to be reopening without mass casualties, except for the thug life pistoleros taking pot shots at each other during 3,000+ strong street parties. There's a lot of pent up rage over turf wars, ho's, and dissin' that needs to be relieved, so some shooting has to be expected.

Here in Delaware, some people are going back to work. The bartender next door was called in today. No, the bars aren't actually open yet. They're cleaning up, checking inventory (theft and spoilage), etc. in anticipation of the further loosening of restrictions in a few days. I haven't been called back to my job as breakfast cook yet, as hotels are still at minimal occupancy. But the Governor Carney did finally relent on 2 of his most ridiculous edicts: State Troopers are no longer required to stop cars with out of state plates and "inquire as to their intentions". And at the golf course near my apartment, people were enjoying the good weather yesterday and - yes - using golf carts. The previous rules allowed golfers to drive to the links as a foursome in a private vehicle without masks, but required them to separate once they tee'd off, and maintain a 6 foot minimum distance while walking the course in masks. No carts allowed.

No word yet when churches will reopen, but the liquor stores, as an essential business, have never been doing better, from what I understand. The reopening of my neighbor's bar may put a dent in liquor store sales, however.

Just for the record, Delaware (so far) has had 362 deaths where corona virus was detected in the bloodstream. That's 1 out of every 3,000 residents, or a per capita death rate of 0.0003%. I'm sure some political extremists were wishing it was worse. I still don't know a single person - personally - who even claims to have tested positive for Corona Virus, but they might be keeping silent about it. There are actually 9,000 confirmed cases in Delaware (1% of the population, including the 362 who died), but I know only a few hundred people in real life, not even close to 1% of the people who live in this state.

Hope everyone is staying safe, and has secured their WFH laptops from hackers. Reminder - check out the Geek Squad. I'm looking at you, Joe Biden . . .

it was too hard for them to count delegates in person. This is going to be a riot.

A virtual convention might be best for the Dems.....This way, they can have pre-planned "technical difficulties" with Biden's connection, and prevent him from saying anything unfortunate.

In fact, that may be the only way they can prevent it.

The churchgoing community has been devastated. Hundreds have died after getting infected at church, including dozens of pastors.

"hundreds"...……………..so shut the country down, destroy the economy and I'd guess the hundreds already had major health problems and were ready to go to heaven.

I read average age of supposedly COVID-19 deaths is 81 years of age and they pass and have eternal life, death only scares non-believers.

Heaven is a myth. And it is disgusting to use that myth to justify the deliberate sacrifice of human life on the altar of greed and ideology.

The other thing that's disgusting is for @Dawg to easily dismiss the deaths because they had "major health problems and were ready to go." How the hell does he know they were "ready to go"? The is how he and the other members of the conservative death cult justify sacrificing the lives of people they know are at risk of dying if they become infected with Covid-19 to the god Mammon they all worship.

How do I know, I have heard those existing in nursing homes say that, that's how the hell I know they were ready to go. Those that don't believe in Heaven may regret that when they die.

So from your limited personal knowledge of people you claim have said that, you've decided it's what everyone who's vulnerable thinks. Nice justification, hope that helps you sleep at night.

Hmmm, I wonder what the common denominator is in your family and friends in nursing homes wanting to die.

Where did I post "wanting to die" no damn wonder you're a lowly liberal. I posted they were ready to go, big damn difference than the lies you posted.

Maybe the day will arrive you will be in a nursing home and can't wipe your own ass and remember what's posted.

No wonder you're alone.

If he's going to have a historic fail in the debates, wouldn't it be better for the demicrat party and voters to replace him before that?

In related news: hospitals and nursing homes are continually accused of overcharging, substandard care, then pulling the plug when there's no more money to pay for end of life expensive medical intervention. Sounds like a textbook example of greed to me.

Proof ? LOL

Of course you made this up. After NBC reported a church in California MAY have EXPOSED 140 people. After a church service a few weeks ago.
Not that they contracted it.

That's OK to Leftists . As long as it isn't a church :-/
