What words do you want to hold Schumer responsible for? Got a link to a quote?seems schumer does not get a pass for his words...clearly his assertion is that they do.
logically..trump then...does not get a pass for his.
quite the pickle...

The point is that that indicates a number of people were carrying weapons....and certainly more than the few who were charged..to the rally...
ooh... do be truthful....
my bad. thought you replied to something else. see post 89What words do you want to hold Schumer responsible for? Got a link to a quote?
yes. at the rally. no dispute here. The point is that that indicates a number of people were carrying weapons....and certainly more than the few who were charged.
40% have been charged with felonies. Anyway, trespassing are the Capitol during a seditious riot in progress is pretty serious if you ask me.Vast majority low level crimes like trespassing
Very few of the firearms brought made it with the plotters to the Capitol, because they were stopped by the Secret Service and Capitol Police. The Secret Service’s refusal to obey Trump’s directive to let the people bring their guns in with them probably doomed the coup attempt to failure. In reality.....no. There were very, very few firearms. The relative property damage as compared to some other riots we've seen in recent times negligible. No one was murdered other than rioters by Capitol police. They really posed no serious threat to the government. The individuals involved are being charged by law enforcement. Questions should be asked why efforts to beef up the National Guard which could have prevented the rioting that day didn't occur. Democrats refuse to entertain that part. Why?
except they didnt.. take them away that is...Trump was ordering Secret Service agents to take the metal detectors away from the eclipse before the J6 rally. He knew that many of his goons were armed. He said, don’t worry, these animals aren’t going to harm me. Then he whipped them into a Hitleresque frenzy, pointed them like a loaded weapon at the Capitol police, VP Pence and Both Houses of the US Congress. When informed that his goons were threatening to hang the Vice President Trump replied, they are right, he deserves it. He sat there watching the carnage on TV for over an hour rooting these violent thugs on….He belongs in fvcking jail right along with the imbecile with the horned hat….
Does the statement "you'll pay the price" enter into the wackjob's motivation for going to DC with the idea that he'd kill Kavanaugh?ok. so..the bar is set. if Schumer's 'pay the price' inspired the kavanaugh violence, then you agree that ..
"You don't concede when there's theft involved. Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore." inspired the storming of the capitol...
yes?
Is a political persecution none the less in the service of the ruling regime. Now you are getting it, serves a narrative, nothing less nothing more......Sure thing...a court with no judge, no jury, no prosecutor and no authority to find someone guilty or to sentence anyone to server time in jail.
This the "well.....do you blame them?" justification that the left excuses its violence with.......Does the statement "you'll pay the price" enter into the wackjob's motivation for going to DC with the idea that he'd kill Kavanaugh?
Or was Schumer referring to the damage to the court or Kavanaugh's reputation for having lied about Roe? Certainly intent matters. Trump intended to stay in power by overturning the election and his last best hope was the riot that halted the certification of electors.
Schumer made that comment in March 2020. More than 2 years later a guy flies from California with a plan to kill Kavanaugh, then calls 911 to turn himself in.
Once again, you pretend to know what takes place in a hearing you refuse to watch. Is a political persecution none the less in the service of the ruling regime. Now you are getting it, serves a narrative, nothing less nothing more......

Once again you claim I've posted a lie....but then fail to prove it.What aboutism is sad excuse for reasoning but is it too much to ask that it at least be factual...... sigh

And not by Schumer's words from two years ago?Who knows. He was angered by the leaked draft
Don't know. And not by Schumer's words from two years ago?
President Trump says he hardly knows who she is and that she is a liar and leaker. The testimony from Meadows aide shows they were planning violence on Jan 6.
Then there is the testimony from Donahue about emails between planners about occupying the capitol and federal buildings.
You must admit that it’s nice to know that Trump attacked his Secret Service driver and grabbed the wheel of the Presidential Limo in an attempt to join his thugs at the Capitol and that he often throws his plates around in the Oval Office splattering ketchup fries and chicken nuggets from his Happy Meals and broken White House China all around the executive dining area. Americans who voted for him must be asking themselves how they were suckered into voting for a guy who acts more like a poopy diapered 3 year old than a man. The committee is doing a hell of a job exposing to America and the world what a horses ass, emotional midget and sociopath Trump truly is. I also find a lot of the testimony to be quite entertaining and hilarious at times. I can hardly wait to see what SNL and late night comics do with this comedy gold. I have heard that casting is already in progress for a made for TV series about Trump, Rudy, Marky Meadows, Roger Stone and the rest of this zany bunch of bananas. Is a political persecution none the less in the service of the ruling regime. Where have I heard that before???? Manafort, Cohen, His niece, Flynn, Parnas, Fruman,…..Lol….Youse guys are a riot…President Trump says he hardly knows who she is and that she is a liar and leaker.
Where's the SS agent testimony?Once again, you pretend to know what takes place in a hearing you refuse to watch.
Your ignorance is your shield. Today's testimony was evidence of how unhinged Trump was. Imagine of SS had allowed Trump to go to the capitol building that day. What would have happened with Trump leading the mob?
Could the count have resumed? Would the rioters have withdrawn from the capitol or would they have then retrieved their guns from cars and hotels nearby and prepared for a military response?
The investigation is in service to our democracy. Ignoring crimes only serves the criminal.
