I'm not really too familiar with the reference, but if "Borg" is anti-freedom, then they do indeed have that in common with about a third of Democrats, per the poll.

Many on the left seem to pay lip-service to tolerance, but in reality, demand conformity. It seems yesterday's hippies have evolved into strict authoritarians.

They now demand abject conformity to their orthodox value system…and leverage the legal system to see to it that you comply. Bake cakes, arrange flowers, participate in the choices of others.

They are anti-liberal. Very.
