Yes. Long overdue.
The laws today are far more draconian/authoritarian than in the 80s/90s. Hence the explosion of the prison population and the routine (systematic) extrajudicial executions.Yes. Long overdue.
In the 70's there were 2,000 homicides a year in NYC. When society started to make tough on crime laws in the mid 80's they were lagging the crime. As the punishment increased the crime plot was bull dogged down so that by the late 90's and mid 2000's crime was drastically reduced. Mostly because criminals were sitting in prison. Now they are letting the criminals back out. They aren't even taking them in to begin with. Crime is going back up.The laws today are far more draconian/authoritarian than in the 80s/90s. There are more people in prison now in the U.S. than there have ever been in any country at any previous time in history. The reasons crime is going back up is Clinton “ending welfare as we know it,” the market-driven opioid crisis, pandemic-driven displacement, and the spur demagogy like Trump’s gives to right-wing radical violence and ultraleft opposition. In the 70's there were 2,000 homicides a year in NYC. We need to toss criminals back in prison.
That is what a first world country can afford and is the backbone of a legal system. Is there room for improvement? Yes, even drastic improvement when it comes to edge cases. But prisons promote lawfulness. We need as many prisons as we need. More criminals more prisons. There are more people in prison now in the U.S. than there have ever been in any country at any previous time in history.
Trump was part of the problem. He was letting people out of prison. They weren't supposed to be violent but they were. The biggest part of rehabilitation is the waning of testosterone. Keep them in prison until their balls shrivel up. ;0)The reasons crime is going back up is Clinton “ending welfare as we know it,” the market-driven opioid crisis, pandemic-driven displacement, and the spur demagogy like Trump’s gives to right-wing radical violence and ultraleft opposition.
The U.S. uses prisons as warehouses to disguise the unemployment and homelessness problems, and as workshops for cheap forced labor. It socializes people into becoming “criminals” so it can so use them. That is what a first world country can afford and is the backbone of a legal system. Is there room for improvement? Yes, re-shoring our industrial capacity is critical to ending the opioid epidemic and making welfare concerns trivial. Trump was doing that until he was so rudely interrupted by the globalist-communist cabal gathered against him and his plan to make America not great again but greater than great. That was a threat to them. They want to keep America down by parasitic encumbrance. Exceptionalism is something they hate. It is about the imposed mediocrity of communism.
Bullshit. Most criminals can't read or write and have kids out of wedlock. The first proves the complete failure of leftist unionized public schools while the second shows the fruits of atheism. THAT is why prisons are warehouses. The U.S. uses prisons as warehouses to disguise the unemployment and homelessness problems, and as workshops for cheap forced labor. More Montana bullshit piles on top of bullshit. We were going to have a revamped supply chain (still are maybe) so the manufacturing was being brought back. Drugs made in America and not in India or China. Automation and AI bringing prices down and increasing productivity. Low and mid end mfg blossoming in Mexico. How was Trump going to revitalize industrial production? By crashing the economy? By making all the raw materials and machine parts more expensive? By letting Covid run rampant? By ignoring global warming? Trump’s plans failed him not because of sabotage by enemies of the U.S., but because they were pipe dreams with no realistic bases.
Not all leftist unionized public schools though … N. Korea has the world’s highest literacy rate because they don’t have the same reactionary forces working at cross purposes with the unions to produce only conformity and obedience without learning … or at least in that country such forces are more constrained. That single parents are punished for their heroic role trying to take care of their children after being abandoned by society is a travesty.Bullshit. 1.) It was Roe vs. Wade that made crime go down in the 1990's.In the 70's there were 2,000 homicides a year in NYC. When society started to make tough on crime laws in the mid 80's they were lagging the crime. As the punishment increased the crime plot was bull dogged down so that by the late 90's and mid 2000's crime was drastically reduced. Mostly because criminals were sitting in prison. Nonsense. Education is highly valued culturally. That is why there is success in Korea in education and not basketball or football or even futbol. ha ha Knock, knock, its about CULTURAL values. Not all leftist unionized public schools though … N. Korea has the world’s highest literacy rate because they don’t have the same reactionary forces working at cross purposes with the unions to produce only conformity and obedience without learning … or at least in that country such forces are more constrained.
Society isn't responsible for your child. You and the other biological parent are morally, ethically, and LEGALLY responsible for your children. That single parents are punished for their heroic role trying to take care of their children after being abandoned by society is a travesty.
Cheap energy, AI and automation will massively increase productivity and lower labor costs. We may well return to single income households affording a family if we can stop Dem0ncrats from destroying a human centric future.f
How was Trump gonna get around the fact that the comparatively unionized, highly productive American proletariat commands a higher wage and therefore investors prefer to produce in lower-wage countries?
1. You think you aborted your criminals out of existence? ha ha That notion was discredited long ago. But given how most crime today is disproportionately black and most abortions are black it is nice to see a Democrat plantation owner take credit for his responsible stewardship of his black slave stock. You admit your party's decadence and evil so easily.1.) It was Roe vs. Wade that made crime go down in the 1990's.
2.) You should be giving credit to ya Boi, Trump for criminal justice reform. Without him, their would be a lot more people locked up at the moment. He had such a big heart for criminals.
