Israeli Hospital...

If they wanted to obliterate the Palestinians living in the region, they likely could have done so...Instead they have tried to live in peace with them, and some Palestinians have been open to that arrangement. Unfortunately, others have not, in particular the adherents to Hamas, whose attitude towards the Jewish people is not different than that of Adolf Hitler. It was evil then; it is evil now.
How can you say Jews have tried to "live in peace" with Palestinians when the Jewish State has been practicing ethnic cleansing since its inception in 1948?

https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2017/5/23/the-nakba-did-not-start-or-end-in-1948

"Between 1947 and 1949, at least 750,000 Palestinians from a 1.9 million population were made refugees beyond the borders of the state. Zionist forces had taken more than 78 percent of historic Palestine, ethnically cleansed and destroyed about 530 villages and cities, and killed about 15,000 Palestinians in a series of mass atrocities, including more than 70 massacres..."

"Today, there are about 7.98 million Palestinian refugees and internally displaced persons who have not been able to return to their original homes and villages.

"Some 6.14 million of those are refugees and their descendants beyond the borders of the state; many live in some of the worst conditions in more than 50 refugee camps run by the UN in neighbouring countries."

Gee, I am stunned that the staff of Aljazeera does not approve of the Israelis....That's a game-changer!

Let's assume that's true, does it follow only Jews are entitled to live between the river and the Sea?
Who said it did? They've allowed Palestinians to live in Gaza, within the borders of Israel.

However, when Hamas fired rockets in their direction, they did what anyone would do...They moved against them.

They have a right to exist. They have a right to defend themselves. It's that simple.

They have no right to drive 2 million Palestinians into Sinai.
That would qualify as ethnic cleansing, right?
Israel's borders are almost as ambiguous as its nuclear weapons policy, but I don't think Gaza was ever part of Israel.
Under international law Israel has effective control over Gaza which means Israel is the occupying power.
As such it is responsible for protecting civilians under its effective control, not murdering them by the thousands.

The original Charter identified Hamas as the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine and declares its members to be Muslims who "fear God and raise the banner of Jihad in the face of the oppressors". The charter states that "our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious" and calls for the eventual creation of an Islamic state in Palestine, in place of Israel and the Palestinian Territories,[3] and the obliteration or dissolution of Israel.[4][5] It emphasizes the importance of jihad, stating in article 13, "There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors."[6] The charter also states that Hamas is humanistic, and tolerant of other religions as long as they "stop disputing the sovereignty of Islam in this region".[7] The Charter adds that "renouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion [of Islam]".[1] The original charter was criticized for its violent language against all Jews, which many commentators have characterized as incitement to genocide.

Hamas openly supports genocide.

They must be opposed.

What else would one expect from HA MAS ! & it's ethnic cleansing while killing all those people for nothing other than Mohammed Valhalla pedophilia martyrdom....
We aren't giving Hamas billions of dollars to facilitate their killings.
We are doing that with Israel, so we have an absolute right to expect better from them.
They've bombed that hospital killing people and people died in the raid.
All for a few useless weapons and some electronics. Now they are bombing the last remaining hospital in GAZA.

12 killed as Israel bombs Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza

Yes, if taken into custody, they can be held for war crimes.
But I have not heard the word capture mentioned in regard to HAMAS members and Israel's war against Gaza. They are there to kill them and anybody who gets in their way.

Hamas has revised its 1988 charter to reflect changing facts on the ground in Palestine.

Likud has not.

Your link:

"Ahmed Yousef, an adviser to Ismail Haniyeh (the senior political leader of Hamas), claimed that Hamas has changed its views over time since the charter was issued in 1988.[21]

"In 2010 Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal stated that the Charter is "a piece of history and no longer relevant, but cannot be changed for internal reasons".[13]

"In 2006, Hamas proposed a government programme, which stated that 'the question of recognizing Israel is not the jurisdiction of one faction, nor the government, but a decision for the Palestinian people.'"

After 56 years of illegal settler colonialism in Palestine, racist Jews have made it clear they will not recognize or tolerate a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River, yet Palestinians are blamed for not recognizing the "right to exist" of their oppressor.

And yet...

Human Rights Watch has verified four videos from the October 7, 2023 attacks by Hamas-led gunmen, showing three incidents of deliberate killings, and presents this analysis in a video published today. The attacks should be investigated as war crimes.

On the morning of October 7, 2023, heavily armed men breached the fences separating Israel and Gaza and entered southern Israel. At least 1,400 people were killed, many of them civilians, including children, according to Israeli officials. Human Rights Watch continues to investigate these incidents, as well as others, as war crimes.

Hamas has a legal right under international law to violently resist an illegal military occupation/blockade. Israel has no such right to inflict one on Palestinians in order to steal their land and water. I agree Hamas committed war crimes on October 7th; those crimes should be investigated, charged, and prosecuted. Israel's war crimes are order of magnitude worse, and they will never be acknowledged, much less prosecuted.

The bad news in all this is how the US makes Israeli and Hamas war crimes possible in the first place:

https://www.counterpunch.org/2023/11/21/americans-are-bankrolling-israels-unfolding-genocide-in-gaza/

"Palestinians, on the basis of their legal right against being wiped out, have filed a major lawsuit against President Joe Biden’s administration for funding Israel’s ongoing pogrom in Gaza, one that has killed more than 11,000 people, including 4,700 children.

"Represented by the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), the plaintiffs include Palestinians who have collectively lost at least 116 family members to U.S.-funded Israeli military attacks."

In 1988 the US Congress ratified Article 1 of the Genocide Convention to prevent and punish acts of genocide. Not only has the number of dead Palestinian civilians in Gaza provided evidence of Israeli genocidal intentions, but also the fact that Israeli officials have publicly proclaimed their desire "...to deliberately kill a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group."

In addition to being a terrorist organization, Hamas also persecutes any and all members of the LGBTQ community.

And you support them, and rush here to defend them.

Interesting.

I don't support Hamas bigots or racist, greedy Jews targeting Gaza's health structure.
Do you find it interesting how Israel's deliberately destroyed 25 hospitals and 52 health centers in Gaza?
Di you support Israel's "final solution" in Palestine?
Israel's racist, bigoted illegal occupation of Palestine is the cause of all current war crimes.

While HA MAS ! fired a rocket that hit a hospital & parking lot killing Palestinians deliberately which doesn't seem to have a war crime statistic.....

I don't think that "misfire" is fully understood yet.
If there were hundreds of casualties resulting from the strike on Gaza's al-Ahli Arab Hospital, no rocket in Palestinian resistance's arsenal has the potential to do that.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/19/what-hit-ahli-hospital-in-gaza

"Based on a detailed review of all videos, Sanad’s analysts conclude that the flash Israel attributed to a misfire was in fact consistent with Israel’s Iron Dome missile defence system intercepting a missile fired from the Gaza Strip and destroying it in mid-air."
