Job growth up under Biden; GOP cultists carp about it

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Feb. 14: “There’s a theory that, in April, when it gets warm — historically, that has been able to kill the virus. So we don’t know yet; we’re not sure yet. But that’s around the corner.” DJT talking to the National Border Patrol Council
What part of "we don't know" is so hard for you to understand? You and I both know that if a democrat had suggested we be resolute in the face of a dangerous situation, you'd be praising them as the second coming of Winston Churchill.

It was misleading because the experts did know and they were saying that (as the U.S. did not take the same sort of measures taken on N. Korea) there was 0 probability the virus would do anything by April besides ravage the country.

Yeah, North Korea is a fricking paradise (obviously) because they, well, ate their rich. You are becoming a parody of a Marxist.

N. Korea is a paradigmatic failed state, clearly ... and they still outdo the U.S. regularly if not frequently. Not to mention how much better off working people in places like the U.S., S. Korea, and Vietnam are as a result of N. Korea’s defense of the revolution despite their housebroken regime’s attempts to divert its power to anticommunist ends. Such is the power a socialist revolution gives to the working class.

I rest my case.

They got covid because they weren't shutdown.
Lockdowns Do Not Control the Coronavirus: The Evidence – AIER

Results: Higher Covid death rates are observed in the [25/65°] latitude and in the [−35/−125°] longitude ranges. The national criteria most associated with death rate are life expectancy and its slowdown, public health context (metabolic and non-communicable diseases (NCD) burden vs. infectious diseases prevalence), economy (growth national product, financial support), and environment (temperature, ultra-violet index). Stringency of the measures settled to fight pandemia, including lockdown, did not appear to be linked with death rate.

Conclusion:
Countries that already experienced a stagnation or regression of life expectancy, with high income and NCD rates, had the highest price to pay. This burden was not alleviated by more stringent public decisions. Inherent factors have predetermined the Covid-19 mortality: understanding them may improve prevention strategies by increasing population resilience through better physical fitness and immunity.
