Trump didn’t even care if Ukraine actually investigated Biden. He just wanted Zelensky to announce that Ukraine was investigating him.

He didn't do what Biden did and withhold aid in order to blackmail the President of Ukraine. Trump put a temporary hold on it until he could talk to Zelensky. Again, Ukraine got their money 2 weeks before the date promised. Nothing was "withheld".
