Moscow and Tehran are moving ahead with plans to build a factory in Russia that could make at least 6,000 Iranian-designed drones for the Ukraine war, said officials from a country aligned with the U.S.

One of the very few correct moves that Donald Trump did while President was to cancel the nuclear treaty with Iran. Iran has been a blind spot for the Democrats for years. For some reason almost all Democrats believe that we can have normalized relations with the current leaders in Iran. This is just abject stupidity. Iran has been our enemy since the Shah was overthrown. Far from trying to make peace with them we should be doing everything in our power to remove the religious nutcases that run the country. (As a side note the democrats would be well served to do the same to the religious nutcases that run the GOP here in America)

Now we have the Iranians causing more trouble by supplying drones to Russia to be used to attack our allies. And what do you think Joe Biden will do about it? I'll tell you - exactly nothing. In fact it would come as no surprise to find out that Biden is actively working to restore a nuclear agreement with these terrorists that they have no intention of keeping.

We meddled in Iranian government when we helped overthrow the government of Masaddeq in 1953. The Shaw and Savak ruled Iran with undisguised brutality. Iranians held a grudge. We expect that they'll just forgive and forget. We kept the Shah in power until 1979. Did we ever apologize? Nah. Did we have a chance to have a normal relationship? Yes. We released their money from accounts frozen since 1980.

We had a far better chance to see a normal democratic government in Iran after the nuclear deal than we did after it was canceled. Assassinating Iran's general in Baghdad didn't help.

The Mullahs have used fear of the US to stay in power for 40 years.

Trump had the opportunity to negotate additional measures...instead he tore it up and now Iran is much closer to having a nuclear weapon and has resumed a hostile stance that he had the chance to make them less of an enemy.

Feel free to produce facts to back you up. Our CIA overturned their elected government in 1953 to preserve ownership of Iranian oil. We put the Shah back in power and kept him there from 1953 to 1979. Look up SAVAK. His reign was brutal.

Do you know anyone from Iran? I do. Their memory of those years is how the mullahs stay in power....fear of the US.

The nuclear deal was signed by our closest allies. Trump threw them under the bus by canceling it, rather than making it stronger. All credible sources state that Iran was in compliance. They surrendered a huge amount of fissile material. They crippled their only reactor capable of enriching plutonium. They dismantled thousands of centrifuges.

We had inspections from a team making sure they had not restarted enrichment. Now we don't.

They dismantled thousands of centrifuges, making it harder for them to enrich fissile material in a quantity needed for a bomb.
They reengineered the only reactor they had capable of producing enriched plutonium.
They agreed to inspections that would have detected any attempt to enrich fissile material in quantities needed for a bomb.

But thanks to this nuclear deal, Iran must reduce its stockpile of uranium by 98%, and will keep its level of uranium enrichment at 3.67% — significantly below the enrichment level needed to create a bomb. Iran also needs tens of thousands of centrifuges to create highly enriched uranium for a bomb.

Killing that deal threw our allies under the bus and let the Iranians move ahead with their bomb.
