New Florida law bans residential protesting.

Do you have a specific incident you are referring to?

Or are you just annoyed that people are exercising their 1st Amendment rights and you want to criminalize it?
A few years ago a so called 'protester' went to a judge's house and shot and killed her son. In an interview a couple days ago she said that it was important that their addresses not be given out because through the years with all of the cases that had a winner and a loser there have been an awful lot of unhappy losers that could be seeking revenge.

That makes a of sense.

Right, so we already have laws on the books that criminalize murder.

That has nothing with people exercising their 1st Amendment rights.

It means you are trying to crimalize a first amendment protected activity.
No. I support first amendment protected activities. Maybe you might want to try reading what I'm writing about. Namely that there are laws that protect justices from such instances of intimidation. Have a good day

And they criminalize the 1st Amendment protected activities.

so what do you call the Jan. 6 "picnic" then ? That was private property - AMIRIGHT? There was " menacing, threat of harm" to say the least. In the right wing playbook the SCOTUS protestors should storm the front door and defecate on the judge's couch, steal his belongings and erect a gallows - all in the name of a peaceful protest
The Capitol Building has always been called The People's House. It is not private property and citizens had a right to be there.

HUH??? Nobody shot kavanaugh or alito or thomas. What are you talking about. ? These are just protesters carrying signs and chanting. That has to be allowed. In fact protesting at the homes of officials should be encouraged.

HAHAHA. "Menacing, threat of harm"???? What does that mean.?

Free speech has to include the right to carry signs criticizing judges (or anyone else) in front of their homes. Think
It does. Yes. You said it didn't.

Anyway...protesters are there to make friends? Have there been reports of threats?

You think.

Sounds like you believe that nothing should be done to prevent murders. One should simply deal with them after the fact. Heaven forbid that a potential murder should interfere with those 1st Amendment rights.

What murders??? This is about people carrying signs at a protest rally. We have to allow that even in front of a judge's house. Maybe esp there. I wish conservatives would protest in front of sotzy's house.
