Anyway, I’m sure you know that Bernie is not truly a socialist. For example, he does not call for seizing private sector industries and putting them under the ownership of the government.

He certainly is extremely progressive, in the vein of those Europeans who advance universal health care and policies that shift some wealth downward, as opposed to our GOP policies that relentlessly shift wealth upward.

I don’t agree that such views are “remarkable.” It’s just that much of America has been brainwashed into opposing policies that would improve their lives.

What I "know" is that at least Bernie is not hiding his socialism under false claims of being "capitalist to my bones" like the others. The notion that he only wants us to be a "little more socialist" like the "Europeans" is the expediency necessary to keep moving the needle to the left, until all it will take is another "financial crisis" for the permanent "Democratic" majority to start nationalizing major industries (like the Europeans). And it's all down hill from there...
