By what section of the US Code? And of course, in true leftie style, you totally miss the part about "recess"...
or rather NOT in recess....
that makes what Obama just did illegal.

Recess appointments been around for years....naturally you just NOW noticed.
By what section of the US Code?
George W Bush wouldn't make recess appointments.....

And his fellow Democrat sheep will support his blatantly breaking the law.
By what section of the US Code?
Make a deal with ya Jen. If a republican gets in to the White House, I promise not to get upset about recess appointments as long as you don't get upset about Dem Obstruction. 'kay?Oh well......................... no problem. And you won't say a word when the next Republican President follows this precedence and does the same thing ............right?
And btw...........Bush didn't make recess appointments while the SENATE WAS IN SESSION. That's not a "recess" appointment that Obama did. It was just an appointment he made just for the heck of it. But okay............Republicans will be glad to do that, I'm sure. Might come in handy.

How can you consider Congress in session if you don't have a quorum? And of course, in true leftie style, you totally miss the part about "recess"...
or rather NOT in recess....

Its the difference between being technically in recess, or in recess for real. The law will stand behind Obama on this. For all practical purposes Congress is in recess because for one thing they don't have a quorum. if they don't have a quorum they can't conduct business. If business can't be conducted, then the president can make a recess appointment. Bush did it under the same circumstances, because dems did the same thing, I don't think you complained then, why now?Recess appointments are supposed to be done when all of CONGRESS IS IN RECESS.
Do you not realize that the SENATE IS NOT IN RECESS now?
But go ahead and give your designated excuses. I expect nothing more from that from a willing dupe.
"Obama seeks crisis""Obama seeks crises. We have a president who is arrogant, dismissive, and out of control. Give him one"

Not feeling it, Reagan average 30 recess appointments, Clinton 17, Bush 20, this president? 9; for some reason he stills gives that paranoid tea bag dipping congress face time.(If you haven't purchased your weapons or your full complement of ammunition, yet, it may be too late. Impeachment time is nigh! He's been spoiling for a fight for a long time now and just threw the first punch.)
"Unreal: Obama Uses Executive Authority To Make Recess Appointment Even Though Congress Is In Session…
Last time I checked we’re in America, not Venezuela (where another Marxist abuses his power).
This is just the beginning.
WASHINGTON (AP) — In a defiant display of executive power, President Barack Obama on Wednesday will buck GOP opposition and name Richard Cordray as the nation’s chief consumer watchdog even though the Senate contends the move is inappropriate, senior administration officials told The Associated Press
With a director in place, the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will be able to start overseeing the mortgage companies, payday lenders, debt collectors and other financial companies often blamed for practices that helped tank the economy.
Obama’s decision to make a recess appointment is certain to cause an uproar from Capitol Hill to Wall Street. He is essentially declaring the Senate’s short off-and-on legislative sessions a sham intended to block his appointments.
The White House is expecting considerable criticism and perhaps a court challenge, but says Obama was left with little choice to get the consumer agency fully running after months of stalemate.
Acting right after Tuesday’s GOP presidential caucuses in Iowa, Obama is seeking to grab attention and show voters that he will advocate for the middle class no matter what the opposition. It is his most bare-knuckle initiative so far in his campaign of taking action without waiting for Congress."

Translation on that article,Republicans are madder than h***,but cannot do a thing about it. Obama is throwing the gauntlet in the their face. You AP quote is bullshit. The actual AP story doesn't include the phrase "In a defiant display of executive power." That comment comes from rightwing blogs such as the link you provided.
