And our well qualified Dem DA of 25 years who has done a pretty good job of keeping order in the county was just upset by a Soros funded candidate (yeah, the local media didn't bother to mention that 90% of his funding was Soros money until, of course, after he had delivered his acceptance speech). Dems always win so these progressive warriors are shoo ins to win in November. I seriously am beginning to believe progressivism is a form of mental illness, along the lines of "self harm" disorders. Dugan won the primary on May 16th...do you have evidence that Soros contributed a penny to his campaign? There is an organization that over three years has gotten about $500k from Soros Fund Management. How much did they donate to Dugan?

Tell your rep to toss Citizens United...quit letting non-voters donate money to candidates they can't vote for.

When I was a kid, Portland - and Oregon as a whole - had viable candidates in both parties. We elected Republicans AND Democrats. McCall, Atiyeh…governors addition to the Democrats like Roberts or Straub. State senators like Hatfield and Packwood were viable as well. It was a two-party state…and illicit drugs were illegal.

No non-Democrats need run any longer. There hasn’t been a non-Democrat governor elected for over 40 years. All Senators have been Dems for decades as well…and VERY left wing Democrat supermajorities always rule the state house and senate. Logging was effectively driven under. The greater Portland area, like Pittsburgh, was very no-nonsense blue collar hardworking, and pragmatic.

You have to understand the right wing’s obsession with Soros. They know that there is a built in voting bloc of about 10% that are hard core Jew haters.
