Pol Pot's Democratic Kampuchea: the real story

Every time you have an excuse. Why is it do you think there is an excuse? Shouldn't communism be natural and just happen as a kind of path of least resistance? Why isn't it natural like that? Can it ever wildly succeed and give a better quality of life than well regulated capitalism? Will it happen in your lifetime?

I'm not buying this excuse for what should be so obvious that ALL of human nature would wildly accept the communist tenets by default. Why doesn't it? Maybe human nature isn't communist?
It’s not an excuse, it’s an explanation. Socialism does provide a higher quality of life every time for the vast majority, but it is violently opposed by the capitalist ruling class who are vested with vast power by capitalism because it means giving up their power. It is as natural and as violent/dangerous as childbirth.

Because socialism grows out of capitalism, it initially retains elements of capitalist backwardness, such as the state, and capitalism’s ruling class actively seeks to use those elements as means of restoring its power, as in the reactionary Mao regime that was a potent anti-socialist weapon. In Cambodia this weapon was taken to an absurd length by setting up a petty-bourgeois regime supported by a foreign Stalinist dictatorship for the sole purpose of waging class war against the proletariat ... a regime without capitalists founded on anti communism. It was socialist Vietnam that finally drove the Pol Pot regime from power, despite the efforts of the capitalist U.S. and Thailand to keep it in place.

Anyway, what is your excuse for capitalism’s failure? Shouldn’t it just be natural?
