It is ILLEGAL to enter this country without permission.

U.S. immigration law actually uses the term "improper entry," which has a broad meaning. It's more than just slipping across the U.S. border at an unguarded point. Improper entry can include:

  • entering or attempting to enter the United States at any time or place other than one designated by U.S. immigration officers (in other words, away from a border inspection point or other port of entry)
  • eluding examination or inspection by U.S. immigration officers (people have tried everything from digging tunnels to hiding in the trunk of a friend's car)
  • attempting to enter or obtain entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or willful concealment of a material fact (which might include, for example, lying on a visa application or buying a false green card or other entry document).

does not qualify as turning oneself into the Border Patrol.
So what is the difference between the tens of thousands who are immediately deported and those who are allowed to remain awaiting an immigration court hearing?

Seems you are ignoring the law on asylum.

Kidnapped, abducted, hijacked it all mean the same thing.
This was racist and you folks loved it.

Your GOPer governor rounded them up.

The people tried to help them

And yet within 48 hours they're kicked out of Martha's Vineyard and in a military facility. I would love to know who sold that destination to them, because I'm quit sure that's not where they were hoping to end up when they came here. I guess that makes the people of Martha's Vineyard kidnappers as well as hypocrites.

Let them come legally, work without restriction based on immigration status or national origin, and have the same access to welfare as the rest of us, and I bet that would never have happened. Anyway, undocumented immigrants commit crimes at lower rates than native-born citizens; the only demographic committing crimes even less often are the legal immigrants they would be if not for legal immigration restrictions.
less crimes NOW due to their being 350,000,000 Americans

Excuse me, but a person's status of illegality is not a race. Illegal aliens are not a race. Mexicans are different from Guatemalans, who are different from Venezuelans.
If you want to say they all look alike, well, that's racist.
Thing is, people emigrate to America from those countries legally, (in other words, getting in line and waiting their turn.) Are those who wait also a different race?

Idiots call someone a racist after losing an argument. Has nothing to do with actual races.

And liberals in Martha's Vineyard decided to ship those poor migrants out as soon as they arrived.
Asylum seekers are legal immigrants.

Determined by a court of law
or use to be
That’s the whole issue here. While asylum seekers are waiting for their court hearings, should governors be able to ship them to an area without the infrastructure to meet their basic needs for a publicity stunt?

They wouldn't have to if the sob's came legally
Why claim to be sanctuary cities if not sanctuary cities?

You think Egal Pass, Tex has more infrasture than Marth's Vineyard ?

Presumably they did come legally. We’ll see what the courts say but PJ Righty has been demagoguing for years about the terrible state of affairs in Venezuela … now all of a sudden “maybe they aren’t really refugees.” Anyway, the people in Texas are housed in large Border Patrol facilities paid for by the federal government unless they have sponsors, those shipped to Massachusetts were dropped off in the middle of nowhere without a plan.

and now living better than You for Free

Actually, that storm is not going to hit Florida. It is headed east in the Atlantic.

As far as Puerto Ricans and Florida, there were several housing developments (some pretty upscale) that marketed to Puerto Rican nationals. Florida wants the citizen who has a job and can afford to pay his/her way, and who speaks English.
Most Puerto Ricans don't have a job (in the US), can't afford to pay their way, and don't speak English.
The storm did hit PR, and ravaged it. So there still is a question of PRs coming here to Florida, and there still is a possibility that another hurricane will hit here (like Invest 98L) > AccuWeather reports that the system could head further west and into the Gulf of Mexico, or cross over Cuba toward Florida. If it reaches the Gulf, the storm could become a major hurricane.

Why are you limiting it to 10 yrs ?

Is that because you want to hide the fact of what he did with his dead b brother medical child's medical treatment ?

Or the way he treated his elderly tenants by making conditions for them unlivable ?

People like him don't change.
10 yrs or 70 yrs, he still the same cruel and hateful individual he has been his entire life.
Because the last 10 years (or not even that long) is when Trump has been in politics, and if you call somebody a racist, that is in the present tense, not the past.

Puerto Rican's legal status is that they are AMERICANS

Trying to backtrack is useless.
Stand behind that racial resentment or repent, because BSing isn't an option here.
Your meaning is clear.
Americans or not Americans is OFF TOPIC and irrelevant, Please post responsibly.

Wonder what would happen if there were 50 Puerto Ricans dropped on Martha's vineyard.
They would be recorded and lead to resources to help them. Media will report it. But there won’t some spectacle of making a political show. Conservatives will talk shit in their safe corners. Life goes on.

They'd make it as little show as possible - when they ship the migrants out to an army barracks.

So you’re not a real American… and/or you don’t like Americans of another color? Therefore they should suffer their natural disasters and leave you alone, right? Got it.
They may be "another color" to you. Not to me. I'm 50% Mexican/Central American, lived in Mexico for some years, speak the language, know the culture, and I even play Mexican songs on the guitar (ex. Hay Unos Ojos)

You "Got it" WRONG. AS I stated in the OP, Florida isn't where to flee to, because they could get hit with another hurricane right after coming here. Hurricane season is still in full swing, and it so happens there is a system in the Caribbean right now, that scientists predict could hit Florida next week. See 4:10 on the video time bar >>
