Putin is playing US wingers like a fiddle

Indeed, Putin’s central reason for holding Paul Whelan is ginning up criticism of Biden. Putin hates Biden and pines for the days when his stooge Trump was in the White House.

Any doubt in that regard was dispelled when Putin allowed Whelan to do an CNN interview after Griner was released complaining that he wasn’t also freed.

Putin plays the wingers like a fiddle, and the wingers are happily played…

Putin gets his spy back for a pot smoking basketball playing civilian with poor judgement. Putin still holds on to an American Marine. Biden gives up the spy that Putin desparately wanted leaving him with nothing that Putin wants to negotiate with and you think it is the wingers that got played?

Putin gets some well needed good publicity and Biden looks like he left a marine behind.

Biden is the one that got played.

Yeah, the right wing always plays into the hands of Putin.

Interpol is smiling big time.

It is well beneath pathetic that - even in this case, in which there is not a SINGLE conservative or Republican involved in any way - you still try to milk it for something to attack non-Democrats about. You are, without a doubt, this forum’s worst poster. Sadly, you make up for it in volume.

Kook.

Putin certainly knows/knew which side of the US political aisle would take that handoff and sprint full speed with it.

You can't be so ignorant to think that the right wing here that see any political damage done to Biden is a win for Putin and Republicans, can you?

Yes, you can- because you're part of it. Putin would give you and all the other of his right wing apologists here a medal if he could.

Again, despite the nutcase inventions of this forum’s unstable hyper-political hacks, conservatives and/or the GOP have nothing at all to do with Biden’s/Putin’s prisoner swap. Not a thing.

Boy, you fellas should stay away from power and authority when you are this allergic to accountability. Just nuts.

FYI, the Russian you refer to as a “spy” was an arms dealer. About 15 years ago.

But my other thread explores your exercise in comparative worth of the prisoners. You dodged my question. It’s still there.

He sure knows how to play the wingers. I’m convinced part of the reason he invaded Ukraine was because he hates Biden, and misses Trump, and he knew US wingers would blame Biden for Putin’s invasion. And he was right. Putin viewed his Ukraine war as a twofer.

It is truly striking how boring and repetitive you are. You simply refuse to address topics, choosing instead the same excruciatingly boring whining about other posters. You are boring to the point of cruelty.

Don’t count on him to actually address the issue raised. Ain’t gonna happen. Prepare yourself for more whining.

Whelan was in a Russian prison during Trump in the white house so why didn't Putin release Whelan to make Trump look Great if there's so much love between the 2?

Yeah, the left are praising Biden for trading the Merchant of Death for a doper roundball player that took her dope to Russia to make a $million

Because it wouldn’t have made Trump “look great.” Trump and his rabble didn’t give a damn about Whelan. And Trump was under Putin’s thumb.

She was arrested for a minor amount of CBD oil. Not like she had a bag of reefer.

Fine - I thought it was a Marijuana vape pen... regardless none of it is important. It was a minor offense and she shouldn't have been imprisoned for it.

The fact remains that trading The Merchant of Death for so little in return was a bad deal. Making it even worse is that Biden left a former Marine there. Very bad optics.

And that's why you see Putin's allies cheering and Biden's allies trying to justify the deal.
