It seems to me that the solution here is very simple:

Treat your fellow posters with dignity and respect, even if you disagree with them.

Do that, and you will be in no danger of being banned.

What could be simpler?

Speaking as a Moderator, I am not aware of any written rules or policy about reinstatement. I should think they would be in a pinned post if there were any.

As a member,I rarely read or post here now because of the toxicity. I can think of some banned members who would drag this site lower if they were reinstated.
