Inquiring minds what to know.Does PJ have any specific M.O. for possible redemption re: permabanned members?
I'm just curious if all the PJ rules are set in stone. Asking for the repubs and the dems.
Thanks
I know of one poster who was permabanned, then let back in, then banned again.Speaking as a Moderator, I am not aware of any written rules or policy about reinstatement. I should think they would be in a pinned post if there were any.
As a member,I rarely read or post here now because of the toxicity. I can think of some banned members who would drag this site lower if they were reinstated.
Not forever. Just until the word of the shadow ban gets around. Then suddenly the ban is remembered and posted to the Penalty Box. I've been assured that it's all quite innocent.Pretty sure the unwritten policy is you have to kiss and make up with the mods.
Or else shadow banned forever.
Nope. Just in your headPretty sure the unwritten policy is you have to kiss and make up with the mods.

Nope. Just in your head. In reality nobody owes you a thing .Not forever. Just until the word of the shadow ban gets around. Then suddenly the ban is remembered and posted to the Penalty Box. I've been assured that it's all quite innocent.
As an aside ..which poster or posters are you here advocating for?
Do you think someone should be perma-banned for making a snarky remark about buying a gun for a kid's birthday present?Posting here is a privilege, not a right. If you want to play in your neighbor's yard, you should expect to follow their rules, or be kicked out.
The rules here are not difficult to follow, so whining about them should garner no sympathy. The mods are doing their level-best to remove the toxicity from this forum to the benefit of all those who participate here. We should support them in that effort.
My two cents.
Very much like Twitter.Posting here is a privilege, not a right. If you want to play in your neighbor's yard, you should expect to follow their rules, or be kicked out.

I miss Mick and his tough guy Durham Avatar. He was an angry little guy, but quite entertaining. I vote to let him come back.Speaking as a Moderator, I am not aware of any written rules or policy about reinstatement. I should think they would be in a pinned post if there were any.

Oh I'm not figuring shit out. Speak up sonYou figure it out. Here's a hint:
No courage to control guns, including under this administration
T This link gives a little more info on the shooter, he was a hot mess, may he roast in hell. Seems again there were warning signs tha were ignored like with the last shooter and Adam lanza there's quite a list of examples all ignored. https://heavy.com/news/salvador-ramos/ he was...www.politicaljack.com

#freefreysmanNope. Just in your head. In reality nobody owes you a thing .
I'm guessing there is more to it than that. Some folks here have a history, and this may have been the straw that broke the camel's back. Just my hunch.Do you think someone should be perma-banned for making a snarky remark about buying a gun for a kid's birthday present?
If I remember correctly, Mick.. has been in and out several times keeps making promises and then screwing everybody over by not adhering to what was agreed to... Namely not being a total tool to the mods. I vote noMick
I like that dude. Make a case#freefreysman
