Republicans are already moving on to banning contraception.

Because nothing says you're anti-abortion like doing your utmost to make sure one might be needed.

Republicans’ efforts are even outpacing the Supreme Court, which hasn’t yet delivered its official decision on the future of abortion. That hasn’t stopped Louisiana from amending its anti-abortion legislation to ban the practice from the moment of egg fertilization (it would also ban in vitro fertilization, which has been utilized by thousands of Louisiana families)—an extremist position out of step with both modern medicine and most Americans’ beliefs.

Idaho Republicans are going even further, after state Rep. Brent Crane confirmed he would hold hearings to consider banning IUDs and the contraceptive pill Plan B. In Tennessee, not even your mailbox is safe. A new law signed by Gov. Bill Lee makes it a felony, complete with a $50,000 fine, to receive abortion pills through the mail. So much for small government.

And dems are moving on to making killing babies the law of the land...

I gave you a rare upvote on this. When youre right youre right. If governors think they can ban contraception with a penstroke, they might be surprised how quickly they're recalled and removed from office . Theyre living in a bubble, no matter how red their state looks to them.

This is going to end up as the GOP version of "defund the police". An extremist agenda most voters won't buy.

Yes, in case of Republicans getting what they have demanded for 50 yrs.

Break glass and vote for the Democrats and hope they can fix the disasters the right wing created after just two years instead of the usual 4 yrs, or 8 yrs in case GOP voters really want their agenda to wreck the nation.

It really is amazing how it's been that way for 30 yrs now.

The first SCOTUS case I learned about in grad school was Griswold v Connecticut.
If Roe is overturned, repubs will be sure to go after contraception.

Griswold v. Connecticut, 381 U.S. 479, was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States protects the liberty of married couples to buy and use contraceptives without government restriction. The case was decided in 1965.

Gee...shouldn't the murder of millions of sperm be banned? Outlaw male masturbation! Let's see how all those republican jackoffs like it.

They want to let women know they can't avoid being punished for having sex

With someone else, that is...

1. Those sources are LYING.

2. The ONLY form of birth control your side of the aisle approves of is ABORTION, even on the day of birth.

3. Most of America supports abortion in cases of rape, incest and saving the life of the mother. Only a small, REALLY IGNORANT AND SICK minority of America supports abortion so a high school slut can look good in a prom dress.

Those are facts, and facts don't care about your feelings.

1. Nope, here is a link to one of the sources, it's their local paper.

If the United States Supreme Court overturns Roe v Wade this summer, as a leaked draft opinion indicates, a trigger law banning nearly all abortions in Idaho wouldn’t be the end of the conversation about abortion and reproductive health in Idaho.

Rep. Brent Crane, current chairman of the House State Affairs Committee, told Idaho Reports on Friday that he would consider legislation to ban abortion-inducing medications sent via mail such as mifepristone and misoprostol. He said he would also hear legislation banning emergency contraception, commonly known as Plan B, citing health concerns about those medications.

2.
Republican don't believe on contraception only punish for pregnancy

Texas Conservatives Laud Court Ruling on Birth Control

The Republican War on Contraception

Why are Republicans taking away birth control?

The Trump Administration Goes After Birth Control

3. You right winger aren't and never have been "most people" in America.
Stop pretending you're like the rest of this country. It's trying to move forward while all you nut jobs want to do is drag us back to our ugly past.

Some Republican states set to ban abortion without exceptions

Rape exceptions to abortion bans were once accepted. No more

Now tell me about your feeling after having the actual facts shoved in your face.

A BLOG is a local paper? And you wonder why you left wingers get so bent out of shape every time you lose an argument. You don't know what FACTS are.

2. Republican don't believe on contraception only punish for pregnancy

That is just too stupid a lie to even comment on. A Florida THIRD GRADER could come up with something less ridiculous.

<<Texas Conservatives Laud Court Ruling on Birth Control>>

Hobby Lobby is an old case. It is not a war on contraception. It is an employer given a choice not to have to pay for contraception based on religious beliefs. It does not ban a woman from paying for her own contraception or just not being a slut. And the only religion I can recall that had official rules on contraception was the Catholic Church, (which is not exactly a conservative denomination.)

<<The Republican War on Contraception>>>

Mother Jones? Seriously? You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel to come up with that fascist rag.

<<Why are Republicans taking away birth control?>>>

I'm starting to see a pattern here. You go for the most extremist hate speech sites in AMerica and try to pass them off as legitimate or even relevant? SALON? Seriously?

<<<The Trump Administration Goes After Birth Control>>>

Like I said, you blue staters couldn't pass Florida third grade standards? For that matter, neither could the environmentalist whacko hate group Sierra Club. Last time I checked, they were busy trying to "climate change" us back to the Stone Age, but somehow they have the credibility to accuse Trump of going after birth control? Maybe someone you know who hasn't dropped out of elementary school before the fifth grade could explain to you how NO NEWS SOURCES, RIGHT OR LEFT, BOTHERED TO REPORT THAT RIDICULOUS LIE back when Trump was our LAST LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT. And certainly, the hate rags like CNN and MSNBC made up TONS of lies about him.

3. You right winger aren't and never have been "most people" in America.
Stop pretending you're like the rest of this country. It's trying to move forward while all you nut jobs want to do is drag us back to our ugly past.

Wrong. Only about 29 percent of American identify as Woke left wingers. The vast majority of America is mainstream conservative, believing in liberty, freedom, capitalism and the rule of all, ALL HATE TERMS to you left winger minorities.

<<Some Republican states set to ban abortion without exceptions>>
I thought you left wingers maintained that ALL of America supports abortion on demand, paid for by the taxpayers, even after birth if the mother decides. Certainly all your biased left wing polls point into that direction. Why then, in the name of Zeus's Butthole are you so worried about the Democratic process?

<<Rape exceptions to abortion bans were once accepted. No more>>
That source is almost as ridiculous as the Salon and Mother Jones rags you vomited into this post. Yes, there is a SMALL portion of America who believe that a BABY should not be punished just because of a rape. It is a hard thing to accept, but most of America, MAINSTREAM CONSERVATIVES are not extremists on the matter of choice. Most of us believe a woman has a right to CHOOSE whether or not to get pregnant.

Oh, and your article is LYING. Rape exceptions were not accepted before Roe. Then again, Roe had not caught up to SCIENCE in those days.

Now tell me about your feeling after having the actual facts shoved in your face.

I will when some day you find some facts. So far, all you've vomited into this posts are extremist left wing, I HATE AMERICA opinions. NO FACTS.

You have LOST this argument. Move on.
