Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts

Don’t you mean the rightist riots, as thousands of Rittenhouses crawl out of their holes for a triumphal orgy of violence?
Yup. An absolute green light for vigilante wannabes to brandish their assault weapons, incite violence, and shoot anyone who looks at them the wrong way.

Our national state of affairs is bleak indeed.

You seem to have lost track of who killed whom.
No, not at all. The issue was did Rittenhouse go on a rampage that was caught on film, or did Rittenhouse get caught up in a mob of thieves and anarchists who were trying to kill him for interfering with the flow of their peaceable assembly that just happened to involve fire, destruction, theft, violence, etc. Oh, and an attempt to rush and beat the teen to death.

A jury of ordinary Americans has spokenyou can no go about maligning these ordinary Americans

Rittenhouse didn’t get “caught up in a mob.” He purposefully went there with his assault rifle to engage in vigilantism. And when that happens people will naturally try to disarm the apparent madman walking around with an assault rifle, especially after he shoots someone. Tragedy is inevitable.

But fear not - others now have the green light to do the same. All is good with this verdict, no?

So why didn't they disarm Ziminski and grosskreuz?

No, not all good with this verdict other than your disappointment that angry mobs can't go about trying to beat people to death

If you really think this case was just about an angry mob trying to beat people to death you should be good with the verdict. I happen not to think that’s not what this case was all about.

I happen to believe what the actual videos show, not the musings of anarchists and hatemongers and those who countenance the diminution of all things, including just impartial verdicts

He didn’t “get caught up” with anyone. He crossed state lines and a police barricade to put himself in the situation he was in, so he had a pretext for the rampage that was very much caught on film. He had NO self-defense claim because he was the aggressor. Not does one person (likely a police provocateur as usual) starting a fire mean that everyone else involved in the same protest forfeits their right to life.
