Sanders: The Perfect Democrat; and Why he will lose

Let me count the ways that Bernie is the perfect storm for a Democrat Party that has done something totally unheard of in American politics: Circle the firing squad.
Here are the talking points for the uneducated liberals to attempt to respond to and whine about. These are facts, and facts don't care about your feelings.

1. Bernie is not a unique voice in Democrat ideology, at least not at the national level. All the top tier Democrats and politicians have gone so far off the extremist left wing cliff that they are now making the Clintons look like moderates. I didn't think that was possible. Bernie is just the only one who admits this insanity.

2. Bernie, while having a massive following of idiot welfare bums, illegal aliens and uneducated morons who have racked up five figure student loans while staying stupid, is a lackluster politician. He has an extremely poor record in Congress, having sponsored ZERO legislation.

3. Bernie is a solution in search of a problem. He (and the other extremist communists in his party) are trying to solve problems that do not exist. We're in the greatest economy of all time. There is no need for government to spend money to create jobs, because the private sector is spitting out high paying MANUFACTURING jobs faster than companies can find employees. There is no need for government to force the raising of the minimum wage because the Trump economy has already done that in the free market. Illegal immigration is WAY down, deportations are up, and crime is rapidly decreasing. There is NOTHING for that senile old communist to run on.

4. Bernie is a piss poor example of a human being. While he plays the class envy card, he NEVER held a real job in his entire life and got RICH off the government and the welfare state. And if he is nominated, he'll be going up against an incumbent president who created more good jobs in the PRIVATE SECTOR with his company before becoming president.

5. Bernie has ADMITTED he will RAISE TAXES on the middle class to pay for the asinine Green New Deal and Single Payer Health Care (that the LIARS think they can sneak by us by calling it Medicare for All. Only a totally brain dead meth head or crack head buys that bullshit. He will take away our automobiles and passenger jets, while he flies private jets and takes limos everywhere.

And this communist actually thinks he has a chance against President Trump, the GREATEST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY, the man whose GALLUP numbers are the highest of his presidency today?

Yeah, fcking right.
Gotta love #2 :)

Buttigieg would be the easiest for Trump to beat. Gay, a technocrat, arrogant preppie, just the sort for Trump to make his punching bag. Sanders is probably too far-left to win, but enough Americans support him he’ll probably win the nomination. But if they want someone who will be able to beat Trump, their best choice is Warren.
All of the Democrats still in the race could beat Trump.

Really counting on the recession not starting before November, and on voters forgetting the booming economy Trump inherited, hmm?
The Wuhan Coronavirus is very much looking like it will cause a global recession come election season. Millions of Chinese aren't even going to work, which will throw everyone's supply chains into disarray. Companies with huge factories in China like Nike and Tesla are telling everyone that's its going to be very bad for their companies.

Guess where the buck stops?

I do not believe Bernie will ever be elected as President of the United States and I also believe the Democrats realize that.

I clearly mentioned the Presential polls. The majority of polls were predicting Clinton would be elected in 2016. We will see how this pans out soon enough.
They gave her about a 2/3 chance of winning ... which equals a (non-negligible) 1/3 chance of losing.

Almost all economists believe the economy will keep humming along nicely -- such as it is -- for quite some time, despite the left-leaning media's politically-driven harping on a looming recession with no basis for one other than typical boom/bust cycles. @ObamacareForever might be right that the over-hyped coronavirus bs might be a monkeywrench. Possibly an engineered one. Otherwise, you're just a wishin' an'a hopin' for partisan reasons.

At no point during Obama's terms did the economy boom. It was a slow, anemic slog up from among the deepest of economic pits. And that mostly from "quantitative easing" -- ie, throwing money at the problem. "The longest sustained period of economic growth in US history" and other such spin re: Obama is deceptive, partisan garbage. i did appreciate the temporary tax cuts, though. Good move there. Post-Obama "regulatory easing" and business tax cuts combined with a continuation of near-free money gave us the current temporary and lopsided boom.
All of the Democrats still in the race could beat Trump.
Could, yes. Realistically, Sander's has the worst shot of the bunch. @EatTheRich might be right about the mayor, except he plays the game well. It's still a race; would be fun to watch if it weren't a race to the precipice.

Republican v Democrat / conservative v progressive ... all so pointless and silly. There's a Third Way, a way back from the precipice.

There is: National Socialism is "The Third Way."
Realistically, it's not going to make any real progress in the USA any time soon. In that sense, "there is no third way" but only because too many choose to remain ignorant and to play the phony (R) v (D) game.
SO literal Nazi-ism is the third way in your opinion?

We prefer "National Socialism" over "Nazi-ism" and its variants. Yes, that's my opinion; we've both been posting here long enough that you know that. Learn the truth of it to see that National Socialism is a legitimate, beautiful and, potentially, achievable alternative to the progressive/conservative idiocy with which we fiddle as the West burns.

But Nazi is short for National-Socialist.

“Typical boom/bust cycles” are not only typical but inevitable under capitalism.

38% of business economists expect a recession this year and more than 70% expect one either this year or in 2021.
