There are two crimes that possibly could be prosecuted. One is related to his taxes and the other is the allegation that he lied on the form to buy a gun.

The DOJ would not be responsible for investigating business deals with Chinese or Russian companies unless there was a crime. They are not in the business of putting out rumors and innuendo, as much as you might have hoped for.

As long as the money continues to flow, there is no downside to trading in the market of lies they have created.

You'd think at some point the conservatives will realize how they have been lied to but so far, they haven't.

I think most “conservatives” do know they have been lied to, but they’re fine with that. They love to lie themselves. They just want power at all costs for its own sake. They think the ends justify the means, so they happily lie with reckless abandon. The new poster boy for GOP liars: George Santos.

Downright surreal.

It could be that simple. What happens when you trade in dishonesty is that your scruples fall very quickly afterword. Like this Sununu charactger up in New Hampshire. If he were to get the nomination, the right wing posters here who swore they were against abortion will suddenly be pro choice.

True but, if he’s pro-choice and running for president, his candidacy is doomed. The GOP rabble will not tolerate that.

Last year when you filed your taxes, did you take any deductions or did you write a check to the US gubbmint for an amount over and above what you owed?

The first issue is that Trump promised to make his returns public. He lied. The point being that the public has a right to know about financial issues that might compromise the president. Trump admitted one conflict of interest with Turkey. How many more were there?

The next is the claim that Trump is a genius businessman, but the evidence shows fake business losses based entirely on fake valuations. That is why his business was fined millions.
