So let’s get this presidential Palestine/Israel timeline correct

Mr. Friscus

Governor
2008-2016: Obama gives Iran tons of money, violence by Palestinian groups rises, Democrats and media praise Obama and blame Israel

2016-2020: trump cuts Iran ties, violence in Middle East decreases, peace treaties are signed, Democrats and media have no comment.

2021: Biden gives Iran 290 million in early April, yesterday hamas begins bombing Israeli civilians, Democrats and media praise Biden and blame Israel for being bombed.

wow

EatTheRich

President
1947-1948: Israel is established as a minority-rule colonial-settler state at the expense of the indigenous majority. Hundreds of thousands are forced to flee their homes and become refugees.
1967: areas in which Palestinians had taken refuge are taken over by Israel in a war of aggression aimed first and foremost at capturing a cheap labor force. Israel is ordered by the UN not to build new construction in the occupied territories, and to prepare to turn them over to the sovereign powers within whose borders they are, and Israel begins ignoring the UN.
1987: after decades of poverty and human rights violations, Palestinians begin fighting back.
1988: Hamas is created by the Mossad as a means of undermining the PLO.
1993: the struggles of the Palestinians culminate in Israel’s formal recognition of the right of Palestinians to a sovereign state on the soil of the occupied territories

Feel free to tell the people of Yemen that Middle East violence decreased under Trump.

The rest of the world views Biden as weak and incredibly ineffective, expect to see more.

Feel free to tell the truth next time...Okay that won't happen.

On orders from U.S. President Barack Obama, U.S. warplanes fired cruise missiles at what officials in Washington claimed were Al Qaeda training camps in the provinces of Sana'a and Abyan on 17 December 2009.[248] Instead of hitting Al-Qaeda operatives, it hit a village, killing 55 civilians.[249] Officials in Yemen said that the attacks claimed the lives of more than 60 civilians, 28 of them children. Another airstrike was carried out on 24 December.[250]

Since 2011, Yemen has been in a state of political crisis starting with street protests against poverty, unemployment, corruption, and president Saleh's plan to amend Yemen's constitution and eliminate the presidential term limit.

At least 56,000 civilians and combatants have been killed in armed violence in Yemen since January 2016.[27] The war has resulted in a famine affecting 17 million people.

Yemen officially abolished slavery in 1962,[314] but it is still being practiced.[315]

And that's the rest of the story.

Important to note: 20% of citizens in Israel are Arabs. Meanwhile, no Jews live among Palestinians, as leaders advocate their populace to murder them

the left lies and calls Israel the one who only accepts one culture. It’s the Palestinians who are the onesthey should be condemning

Funny thing...no links. So Biden somehow sent Iran $290 million, eh? Was it their money as was the money Obama released to Iran?

Israel decides to seize the homes of Palestinian families and Hamas fires missiles. What was Israel thinking?

PS....Obama wasn't president in 2008.

Wow...you're no closer to the truth than @protectionist or @Mr. Friscus are.

1. Yes, Israel was established based on Britain relinquishing control of Palestine and the territory was divided between Israel and Jordanian controlled palestine. The partition vote was in 1947.
2. In 1948 Israel was invaded by Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. Thousands of Palestinians fled east and north to avoid being caught between the armies engaged in combat. The armistice resulted in Joran controlling the West bank and Egypt was in control of Gaza.
3. In 1956 Israel joined with Britain and France in attempting to gain control of the Suez canal. Based on condemnation from the UN and the US the Israelis withdrew and returned control to Egypt. Nasser became a hero to the Egyptians...even though the Egyptians got the asses kicked.
4. In 1967 the Egyptians, Jordanians and Syrians were attacked by Israel. It was a surprise attack that nearly drew the US into fighting. The Israelis justified the attack because of the buildup of hostile armies in the Golan and the demand by Egypt that UN peace keeping forces withdraw from the Gaza border with Israel.
5. In 1973 the combined armies of Egypt and Syria conducted a surprise attack on Israel during the Yom Kippur holyday. After two weeks of fighting that again nearly caused a war between the US and USSR...the Arab armies were defeated and Israel annexed Golan. I was in the military then and we were called up to Defcon 3 and called to report to duty stations. Marines rounded us up from every bar on the North Shore of Oahu to report to the Fleet Operations Control Center. I remember it very well.

Hamas created by Mossad? I only see the Muslim Brotherhood as the founders. Hamas is hardly friendly towards Israel.

I don’t think any of that contradicts what I said. My understanding is that Egypt emerged stronger from the 1973 war, hence Sadat’s ability to get a peace agreement in the aftermath.

Hamas didn’t need to be pro-Israel ... they served Israel’s immediate interests by undermining the PLO and making Palestinian nationalism look bad.

You mean like how racism serves the (D) interest. Basically it's the Obama never let a crisis go to waste. So you are saying Israel is you. Testify!

93% of Palestinians are Muslim,[117] the vast majority of whom are followers of the Sunni branch of Islam,[118] with a small minority of Ahmadiyya,[119] and 15% being nondenominational Muslims.[120] Palestinian Christians represent a significant minority of 6%, followed by much smaller religious communities, including Druze[citation needed] and Samaritans.[121]

You are really one of the most uninformed individuals here. When was Obama sworn in as president? Could it have been January 2009?

You missed the fact that the Palestinians fled because of the invasion by five arab armies in 1948. In 1967 Israel attacked to preempt the buildup and attack that was certainly coming.

One of the most uninformed?...Yes and clearly way more informed than you.

When was Obama elected? Could it have been 2008 when he was President.

But if you read the post and weren't playing semantics, but then what else ya got, right? Racism and name calling. But if you had read the post it said 2008-2016 includes President elect and 7 more years.

You lost the point when you went to semantics.
