Stop Allowing Christians To Be Attacked

Secretary of State Antony Blinken took office and immediately proclaimed that human rights would be the center of U.S. foreign policy.

Yet Blinken’s words – like the words of so many other Biden Administration promises – have proven hollow.
Secretary Blinken ignores the violent targeting of Christians, including the destruction of entire villages and the systematic extermination of women, children, and the elderly.
In 2020, the Trump Department of State designated Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) for religious freedom.
Yet, the designation was removed by Blinken a year later with no valid explanation as to why.
The U.S. International Commission on Religious Freedom called the change “inexplicable” and “turning a blind eye” to Nigeria’s ongoing genocide.

In 2022, almost 90 percent of Christians killed worldwide and 90 percent of kidnappings of Christians around the world occurred in Nigeria.

Act today to protect Christians abroad by encouraging your Member of Congress to support H.Res. 82, which urges the redesignation of Nigeria as a CPC as a first step to ending the genocide.

The US has committed military resources to Nigeria to combat Boko Haram. We just sold them a billion dollars worth of attack helicopters. We have troops in country to train up their army.

Declaring the nation to be guilty of religious persecution is misguided. They are fighting an extremist group...
