Where did I say it did? His prediction dealt with the inevitability of the war if we continued to ply Ukraine with a "primrose path" to NATO membership. At this point, Ukraine is, for all intents and purposes, a defacto NATO member using NATO weapons and training to kill Russian civilians on Russian soil. Where do you think that is headed?

Bullshit. File access is not on a switch log. Try doing an FTP put or a remote get command and see what you have logged.

If the hackers got into an office PC and then could move the file from the email server to the hacked office PC...then what?

Ukraine was invaded. Why wouldn't he ban pro-Moscow parties?

File access isn't, but ip traffic is. Unless their IT person was an asshat, there was a flow collector and (external) ip addresses would be logged.

Having NAS on a hub is a red herring - an external connection can't get to it without traversing the switch.

Then they would still have to get it across the switch, unless of course, they were sitting in front of the office PC.

And, of course, that all assumes they didn't have a (hardware) Firewall - which would make it even easier to see the external connections and what protocols they were using.

Better that nobody (else) dies. If our weapons and training are killing Russian civilians, do you think that would make them more or less likely to support "Putin's war?" It almost seems like you are actively urging we go full WWIII here. That is nuts!
