The big lie

Simple....because proving beyond a reasonable doubt that someone intended corrupt act as opposed to a corrupt act is not always doable. The warrants were illegal......and you claim there was probable cause. So why did you lie?
I read the IG report. He said two were not properly justified...he did not say they were illegal. If you think he did, please point to the part of his report where that was documented.

The probable cause for the first two was the verified report of Page's contacts with Russian government officials and Putin cronies at the same time as the leak of DNC email was being investigated.

Another ridiculous response when he knows full well what the answer is.

The paid FBI informant that made up the dossier for Steele littered it with enough public knowledge to keep Steele paying him and his friends. Pages public speaking engagements were NOT enough to get a warrant on anyone. Everything else regarding Page was bullshit, never verified and bottom line, THE FBI LIED TO THE FISA COURT TO GET THE WARRANTS, and kept lying to get them renewed. Why they lied about Page having been an asset in 2014, calling him for interview would not have allowed them to backdoor themselves into Trumps campaign.

The hookers peeing on the bed, another gem that Danshenko tossed in and Steele kept, had nothing to do with Page as you know, but was none the less more made up bullshit to undermine a Presidential candidate and later a duly elected POTUS.

You must be so proud to still be defending this.
Be specific. What was a lie in that report? You admit that things like his speech and his meetings were public knowledge....so those things were factual. You say his meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister and the #2 guy at Putin's oil company were not enough to get a FISA warrant. How in hell would you know that? Seems like a pretty stupid thing to say. The FBI was investigating actions by the Russian government and a Trump Campaign advisor meets with people close to Putin and you think that should have been ignored.

They were all fraudelent, given his purview he could not review all of them. The FBI confirmed that the information in them was verified, we know this is false because it ALL based on the Steele Dossier which could NOT be verified. Why? Because it was made up by a guy at the Brookings Institute and his drunk Russian friends. Which of course the FBI knew but lied to the court anyway in order to spy on Trumps campaign.

You know this, yet you pretend that you don't, re-word your question or statement and put your sad debunked talking point back on the board...
1. It was not all based on the Steele dossier; in fact, Page had been under surveillance for his contacts with Russian intelligence for years before Trump made him a foreign policy advisor or the Steele dossier was compiled.
2. Many of the Steele dossier’s particulars, including everything relating to Page and everything used to support the warrant application, have been confirmed.
3. The provenance of the dossier and that it was the fruit of uncorroborated opposition research was made clear in the warrant application.
4. New, entirely separate findings were provided as required to support every renewal of the warrant application.

I posted at least one judge's written opinion that the Trump team failed to present evidence. Several were dismissed for hearsay evidence. Care for more?
Why lie? Your opinion isn't worth as much as judges written findings.
They had no idea about the evidence, because they never looked at it, and I've corrected you on this about 10 times also.

You lied. I posted the video.
I mean that Trump said his followers should "Make your voices HEARD, PEACEFULLY & PATRIOTICALLY"

"fight like hell"
is just a relatively meaningless expression, that politicians use all the time, referring to peaceful political work in campaigning, the passage of bills. etc.

Your scam attempt to portray it as encouraging violence, is laughable. This is why Democrats are going to be trounced one month from today.

I said let's play Purple Haze....the riot starts minutes later.

Trump said his followers should "Make your voices HEARD, PEACEFULLY & PATRIOTICALLY"...minutes later, tens of thousands of protestors made their VOICES heard, PROTESTING PEACEFULLY - totally ignored by the biased leftist media.
And the 2 or 3 thousand who attacked police, broke down windows and doors? Seems they heard "Fight like hell"

He also told them to keep fighting until they overturned the election, knowing there was no peaceful way to do that.

Trump on January 6:
  • “And we fight. We fight like hell And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.”
  • “All of us here today do not want to see our election victory stolen by emboldened radical-left Democrats, which is what they’re doing … We will never give up, we will never concede. It doesn’t happen. You don’t concede when there’s theft involved.”
  • “Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore and that’s what this is all about … We will stop the steal.”
  • “Because you’ll never take back our country with weakness, you have to show strength and you have to be strong.”

No doubt about it with those very comments, Trump definitely incited violence.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Finally, you've produced a small bit of evidence that shows the FBI picked up some email between Page and someone still working on the campaign.

So I searched the IG report and found that there were "a few emails" between Page and people on the Trump campaign. So when it was announced that Page was no longer working on the campaign they lied, right?

Trump’s lawyers sent Page at least two cease-and-desist letters, according to another campaign official, who like others, insisted on anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

On September 23, 2016, Yahoo News reported U.S. intelligence officials investigated alleged contacts between Page and Russian officials subject to U.S. sanctions, including Igor Sechin, the president of state-run Russian oil conglomerate Rosneft.[4] Page promptly left the Trump campaign.
Upon his departure, Trump campaign communications director Jason Miller said of Page, "He’s never been a part of our campaign. Period."

This is from page 5 of the IG report.
We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the decisions to open the four individual investigations.

Page 7
We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the FBI's decision to seek FISA authority on Carter Page.

What it comes down to is this...You assert that the FISA warrant on Page was intended to let the FBI spy on the Trump campaign. While this is evidence that they did intercept email between Page and someone who was still working on the Trump campaign, it does not show that there was any further surveillance on anyone else within the campaign. The fisa application was turned over to the FISC on October 20th. Just 18 days later the election happened and what did the FBI release to the public in an attempt to change the election? Surely if they were spying on the campaign in an effort to help Hillary win they'd have leaked something...right?
Certainly not if they got nothing they could use. That they didn't "leak" anything they got from spying on the campaign is NOT "proof" that they didn't. Sheesh!

Raoul_Luke

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Because a few emails from Page to someone in the campaign doesn't add up to spying on the campaign.
Actually it does, factually speaking. What we don't know is whether they used the "three hop" rule to get the communications of someone still working in the campaign. If they were in fact investigating "Russian collusion" with the campaign, it is pretty hard to make the assumption that they would not have done so.

Raoul_Luke

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Your definition of spying and mine are clearly different. They were looking for evidence that Carter Page was acting on behalf of the Russian government. You think that having picked up email from Page to someone still working on the campaign amounts to spying on the campaign. I disagree. If you have evidence that they then expanded into surveillance on anyone currently working on the campaign...where is it? If the surveillance was illegal, why hasn't Durham indicted anyone?

While I took the Trump campaign at their word, that Page was no longer working for the campaign, it looks like it is possible that they lied. If they wanted to spy on the campaign, why wait until two weeks before the election? Seems too late to get info that would help Hillary...since they didn't turn anything up to release to the media, what did they accomplish?
That is what they told the fisa court they were "investigating." It wouldn't be the first time corrupt investigators used what they could prove to get warrants to witch hunt what they could not. You keep ignoring the "three hop" rule - why go to a fisa court if you only wanted to surveil one person? Any old court would have done.

but but but but....PUTIN!!!!

As if Presidential campaigns do not have contact with Foreign Goverments, as if Page going to Russia justified FISA warrants. Only an ass-ole would believe that.

If they were actually worried about it, they could have called in Page for interview, but for the 1 billionth time, that would not have gotten them access to Trumps Campaign which they spied on. That is why the FBI lied when the question came up about Page ever having been an asset previously.

CIA and FBI knew Page, no FISA warrant was justified because of his public speaking engagements.

Again, all part of the insurance policy they put in place in 2016 to stop Trump at all costs, still working on it today with more bullshit concerning the raid on his house.

I wonder what your sad talking point will be when all of that turns out to be MORE bullshit.

The meetings with the Russian deputy prime minister was not public info. The FISA judges agreed there was reason for surveillance.

What campaign has had over 100 contacts with a foreign government? Especially with one accused of meddling in the election? Meetings with an ally is one thing. Numerous contacts with an adversary is another.

Trump had a year to turn over those documents. He was served a subpoena and still had boxes stashed away. That is why a judge issued a search warrant. The proof it wasn't bullshit is the thousands of pages they found in the raid.

How about that they didn’t leak the existence of an investigation, public knowledge of which would undoubtedly have ruined any chance Trump had of winning the election? (You know, the way the FBI made a big spectacle about investigating Clinton when it wanted to torpedo her campaign.)

Information never verified by the FBI, they claimed to the court it was, THEY LIED TO GET THE WARRANTS.

The nuclear secret bullshit the MSM and the rest of the Useful Idiots were running with has already collapsed. The rest will as well, just like Cohen in Praque and all the other bullshit your fascist party has been lying about since 2016.

Barrack Obama got a nice letter about turning over his 30k boxes to National Archives essentialy telling him he could take his time...... Membership has it's priveleges....

Don't think the way they want you too and you get an FBI raid.

Bravo Brown shirts.

Hoffman Estates is not a Federal Faciltiy and Obama's records were kept there well into 2018.
https://www.obama.org/wp-content/uploads/BOF-NARA-LOI.pdf

The Obama documents — both classified and unclassified —
remained in Hoffman Estates well into 2018, as evidenced by a letter of intent executed between Ferriero on behalf of the National Archives Trust Fund and the Obama Foundation. Among other things, the letter of intent memorialized the Obama Foundation’s agreement to “transfer up to three million three hundred thousand dollars ($3,300,000) to the National Archives Trust Fund (NATF) to support the move of classified and unclassified Obama Presidential records and artifacts from Hoffman Estates to NARA-controlled facilities that conform to the agency’s archival storage standards for such records and artifacts.”
