Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger, both Trump haters. It's a committee all of whose members were chosen by one party, and where there is no cross-examination or any attempt to present both sides,"

McCarthy had the chance to put Republicans on the committee (as long as they weren’t personally implicated in the coup attempt) and chose not to. The Democratic leadership can’t force the Republicans to participate if they refuse to. Any constitutionalist member of Congress will by that token be a Trump hater.

So Durham, three years in, has produced one guilty plea for removing a sentence from an email....and lost a case of a lawyer lying to the FBI....and you think his is legit...
But an investigation into a riot that threatened to stop the count of electors to give the president a chance to overturn the election is not.
Not by a long shot. Trump stayed in office because of the partisanship of the republicans in the senate. Not because there wasn't a reason to convict. Add to that the actual conviction in the senate only carried the threat of removal from office. It would not have been a criminal trial.
Now there is the chance of a criminal conviction for multiple crimes.
