if these people really committed crimes, Barr, Sessions and Trump’s DOJ would actually arrest, charge and convict then Jack. The FBI has always been a predominantly Republican ultra conservative outfit. J Edgar Hoover was the biggest right wing nut bag in history. Right now it is Trump and Barr who are making an all out assault on American institutions and the US Constitution.
The reason all of the people whose heads Trump, you, Hannity and many of your cohorts here on PJ are clamoring for have not been arrested is that there is not enough evidence to even arrest them much less indict and convict them. Simple as that.
Trump, Stone, Ailes, Alex Jones and others have done a great job of political character assassination on many of their opponents like the Clintons, Obama, Schiff and dozens of others from their media perches but baseless, highly exaggerated accusations being spouted out by books written by Roger Stone then puked out by lying propagandists like Hannity, Levin, Limbaugh, Alex Jones and many others are effective political tools but would never hold any water in an actual court of law.
Conversely, people like Manafort, Gates, Cohen, Stone, Parnas, Fruman and others connected to Trump have been arrested, indicted, tried and convicted by juries of their peers because they were all involved in criminal activity.
Trump has always been involved with shady people as a result of growing up the son of a major New York builder. In those years you could not be a major player in that industry without dealing with mobsters who controlled all of the trade unions, the concrete and window industry along with crooked politicians who always had their hands out to help get projects through the planning commissions etc.
His father taught him how it worked in the 50’s and 60’s. However in the bright spotlight of national politics you cant expect to act and talk like a New York wise guy and hang out with crooks without getting burned. Look what happened to New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. He was riding high, then Roger Stone who knew the owner of a Washington whorehouse got a tip that Spitzer was banging some ho’s ruined him.
Politics is a rough game and the GOP has been playing down and filthy for decades now.
