The GOP’s elimination of democracy in Wisconsin

Raoul_Luke

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
So the bottom line is that it “looks fishy” because you don’t like the outcomes. You think those people saying the country is on the wrong track because Roe v. Wade got overturned are about to turn around and vote Republican? BTW where is the unpopular progressive policy agenda?

The idea that the Republican "bad candidates" led voters to choose the likes of Hochul, Fetterman, Whitmer and Hobbs simply does not pass the laugh test. You liked the outcome, so the disconnect looks fine to you, but those of us with more than an ounce of intelligence, logic and honesty look at the results of that election and wonder "how the f*ck did that happen?"
Laugh all you like. Fetterman won because Oz was a reprehensible thief and was known to have been enriching himself by selling snake oil. Hobbs won because Lake was a TV news anchor who offered nothing but hate as her platform. She claimed to be Trump in high heels.

I disapprove of Biden precisely because of his lack of a progressive agenda. And I think that is a widely shared sentiment. But I’m not about to vote in Republicans who are apparently on the verge of cementing business as usual under Trump/Biden in place indefinitely by destroying the principle of consent of the governed.
You are on the extreme left. Biden is more of a centrist. He knows he is the logical choice for every left of center voter and by moderating his policies got millions of independents as well. If he were as far left as Trump is far right, he'd have lost.

The Monmouth poll on "preferred party" is silly. It completely ignores the reality that if the poll were taken in the districts you mentioned where certain dems won, it wouldn't necessarily match national polls.

Do you have any evidence of fraud? If not, all you have is a whine about losing when you think republicans should have won.

That’s sort of definitive of centrism/opportunism … improving lives takes a back seat to winning and aggrandizing the leader.

You assume that there is an unlimited budget for social spending that you'd approve of. There isn't. I'd bet that there are a number of policies you would like that a majority of us wouldn't.

The reality is people hate the Congress and the POTUS - both of which have been Democrat for the past two years.

The polls all showed Republicans running even or ahead in most of the races, which with the polls' ingrained Democrat biases, one could reasonably expect the Republicans to win the toss-ups, yet they lost almost every one.

I have explained to you how it could have happened, without any "evidence" left behind. Once the votes are in the hoppers, nobody has any clue which vote is whose. The evidence is impossible to obtain, unless someone squeals.

Are you suggesting the people responding to the polls had no idea who the candidates were?

God of War

Governor
Another example of the GOP taking actions to eliminate any semblance of democratic processes…

Largely as a result of extreme gerrymandering and laws shifting power from the governor (a Dem), Wisconsin, a 50/50 state that often votes for Dems for president, will now have a skewed veto-proof state legislature and a governor who is largely irrelevant, as will be the Dem party. Again, in a state that is roughly 50% Democrats.

Enjoy our nation’s last days of democracy.
Milwaukee and Madison steel the state of Wisconsin for the globalist-communists from the REAL Wisconsin citizens. Milwaukee has suffered for decades the drift of FIB's (f'n Illinois Bastards from Chicago). Milwaukee just gets worse on every visit. Madison has thousands of out of Staters students out voting the residents of Madison proper.

Sad for actual Wisconsin people who are abused by FIB's and leftist states sending their kids to Madison. Madison also isn't as nice as it was. Many cities in Wisconsin have gone down hill.

Not as of yet. Frankly the Democratic wins didn't look fishy to me, until fairly recently. Give the Republicans time to figure out the new "rules."
Read your own post to confirm with yourself how brainwashed you are. All the candidates ran in the same elections, yet you only label Dem wins as “fishy.” Without a shred of evidence, of course. Your mind is shot.

Start a “stop the steel” movement.

Democrats tend to do well when turnout is high, and this was one of the highest-turnout midterm elections ever. People on both sides were very motivated to vote.

Saying that they prefer Republicans control the chamber is not the same as saying that they prefer the Republican wins their local race. And someone from Idaho saying they prefer Republicans control the chamber is not indicative of how people in Pennsylvania will vote.

A lot of governments get into budget trouble as the social order they defend collapses. Take for example the Republic of China which was beset by huge deficits and sharp inflation until the working class took state power, stabilized the currency, and cut the deficit on the basis of redistribution of wealth … all while greatly increasing access to social services. There are also a number of policies the majority want that the Democratic leadership refuses to advance.
