oooh, and God knows we cannot afford to lose Boltlady. If she leaves, who do we get to lead the Israel bashers and the terrorist apologists at the weekly Koffee klatch?
Smart people have a way of looking at all facts. Shall I tell you just how smart Bolt is? She sure is smart enough to know the harm Zionists do. Much like the neocons.

BTW, seems to me the Rightwing Paul haters....should be NICE to Ron and quit calling him names.

Otherwise he might get mad and run as an Independent as some seem to thing he already will (if he loses the GOP Nomination)....after all, they DON'T want the President re-elected and they ADMIT that Paul would drain votes from their side (see above)....

so to go around insulting him would seem to be counter-productive??? :)

So tell us, MA.....what do YOU look at?

Certainly not how much harm Obama and his socialist/leftist/Marxist cabal have done and still ARE doing to America.....

eh?

The best thing about the GOP is, for all their faults, they remain superior to the DNC.

That is, admittedly, setting the bar pretty low......

RP is a fool and anyone who supports him is a fool as well. Libertarians are some of the biggest fools on the planet. Voting for RP is your right but you are throwing it away. You have to ask yourself one question:

Mitt or Obama.

Then vote.

If our president were advocating wiping Canada or Mexico off the map (as Ahmadinejad is with Israel) I just might think we need someone to control us.
What's with the big consern for Israel Jack? Are they the 51st state and therefore the USA is responsible for their security? Do they not have nukes of their own to threaten their neighbors with? Don't they have a hot shot air force that sends bombers just about anywhere in the ME that they want to go? Is the US the world's policeman? Why?

Call me a fool if you like, but I would rather be that than a person who supports people who advocate torturing what could be perfectly innocent people, a person who advocates war that could lead the whole world into yet another world war with all of it's insidious repercussions, a person who would completely destroy any chance we might have left of saving this country from total bankruptcy and many other other things that would erase any trace of what we all had wanted our homeland to be.

Feel free to vote for such things but be prepared to accept the responsibility of aiding and abetting.

Sovereignty is a 2 way street. Would you want the Un or World Court telling us what military hardware we are allowed to have
Had to give you a star for that...couldn't help myself.

if you dont like certain acts, then protest them specifically. But to say that because of these specific issues you will accept the libertarian nut case stuff is really quite silly and juvenile. The day they enact everything RP wants is the beginning of the end of the USA and your lifestyle as you know it. Get over the specifics, look at the overall sheme of things. RP is a clown.

Here, if you register independent, you are restricted to an "Independent primary" for that party. I register "nonaffiliated" so that I can choose my primary.

Bush...Iraq & Afghanistan...over $4 TRILLION and counting...over 10 years...over 5000 US fatalities...both wars on credit, off budget...two tax cuts

Obama...Libya...$1BILLION...a few months...no US fatalities/not troops on the ground. Put both of Bush's wars on budget.

Although I have every intention of voting for Ron Paul it won't be because he is a republican, it will be in spite of it. The very fact that the 'mainstream' doesn't like him is one of the things that makes him so appealing.
I can certainly see that, although I won't be voting for him myself.

He is not a lemming the way the rest of them are.
That's his strongest virtue. Bernie Sanders and Dennis Kosinich have the same virtue.

It's getting bad enough that so few people actually think anything through anymore
That's certainly true. And niether media nor party encourage them to do so either. In fact, it's gotten really bad on that score. There was a time when predential candidates were expected to act presidential. They got booed of the stage just for saying the sort of nutty things that nearly every current Republican candidate has said, and a few democrats the last time around too.

Notice that Obama doesn't do that. No red meat for the audience from him.

Of course you then have the opposite problem with the democrats. They rarely seem to agree with each other on anything. They seem so intent on going off in their respective directions that it's hard for them to actually accomplish anything.
" I don't belong to any organized party, I'm a Democrat!" Will Rogers 1924

Ron Paul is a senile old man, a shadow of his former racist self, in the race for one reason, to ensure Barack Obama is re-elected, so his son can run in 2016.

I predict he will run as a Third Party candidate, and will succeed in drawing 3-4% of the vote needed to keep Obama in office.

If I ran the RNC, I'd concentrate on Senate and House.

Key word/words on Ron Paul:
Nut-case/ nut case.

A nut case, well, different thing, similar to a purse.

Paul has been very evasive and coy when asked about his running as a third party candidate. I think the Obama campaign is feeding money into Paul's campaign in return for Paul's gumming up the works.

"no doubt Paul will run as an Independent"!?!?!....show me a Ron Paul QUOTE of him saying that, LC?
